Discovery Playground is a truly special place where people of all ages and abilities can come together to play, learn, and explore. Thoughtfully designed with a multi-sensory approach, it offers a variety of engaging features that stimulate the senses while encouraging creativity and movement. From interactive elements to inclusive play structures, every detail is built to ensure that everyone—regardless of ability—can participate and have fun. One of its standout features is the wonderful splash pad, offering a refreshing way to cool off while engaging in interactive water play. The gentle sprays and fountains add an extra layer of excitement, making it a perfect spot for warm, sunny days. The environment is not only welcoming but also inspiring, fostering a sense of community and joy. The attention to accessibility makes it a standout destination, proving that play should have no limits. Whether you're visiting with kids, friends, or simply looking for a space to unwind, Discovery Playground is a place where exploration and fun go hand in hand. It’s a wonderful reminder that learning and adventure are meant...

Very cool but falling apart all over. The music items were broken, there were broken buckets in the sand box that was actually a dirt pile turned mud and a little kid was peeing standing in it. The button for the splash pad sensor was not clearly marked so the kids kept having a hard time figuring out how to start it. The cushion padding was ripped in corners, there was a bear cave in the dirt box area that kids are supposed to climb on but because of all the dirt that escapes the dirt box it was very slippery under their feet and idk how someone hasn't been hurt yet. I think if it had a few repairs and a couple safety measures and new sand added to the box it would be fantastic otherwise. Oh and people had their dogs off leash in the park which I felt was not a good idea as some kids ran up to it and had it not been such a perfect temperament pitbull (which it absolutely was the sweetest most well behaved with kids) there could've...

Quite the amazing playground! So much to do, ranging from water activities to musical instruments. I, an adult man, found enjoyment at this park. It is a very high quality park with loads to do. However, with such a popular park, it can become very crowded. It is definitely not the park to visit after a breakup or when you're trying to think. In addition, crowdedness causes for mild conflicts between kids to occur more often. In addition, the crowdedness makes it hard to be a parent if you aren't hovering, leaving many parents to leave a child unnatended and causing fights. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I hope to...

We love discovery park! Probably one of the best parks in Spokane with lots of unique toys and things to do. I like that there’s also a fence all the way around with one entrance. There’s also a drinking fountain and bathroom (but no soap! Bring hand sanitizer!). They also have a stage area for little performances, a sand area, a Splash pad for in the summer, and an eating picnic area with several tables in the shade for birthday parties or groups. They also have swings which is a great experience for all kids! And it’s right by the spokane river and YMCA. Visiting this park is a must for us anytime we’re in the valley!

Kids are having a blast. Lots of little toys to use. There is a large mix of kids ages 3 to like 12 or so running around. It's not an issue though, everyone is responsible and respectful. There are covered benches to sit under. The restrooms are closed until the summer hours. I believe this park has water features in the summer too, which is nice. We are from cali and down there it's standard so my kids miss wet summer fun. All in all a nice park you can visit.

This is a really nice park. It's so bright, colorful, clean and fun! It's a decent size even when they are busy. There are lots of different things to do for kids like swings, slides, fun sculptures, and a jumpoline, plus more. There are so many great photos to take and memories to make here. There are restrooms, but I didn't use them. My younger son had lots of fun and didn't want to leave. There is plenty of parking also.
