Pros: there is a lot to see and many vendors had good prices. Cons: many items I saw for sale were clearly used, dirty, and/or broken. Not even just dented boxes or anything, but legit broken and nonfunctional but still for sale. The main issue I had is that I felt like vendors were racially profiling and overly skeptical about theft, which I understand is a legit concern and these are people trying to make a living. We were there with children aged 8-11 who got excited about seeing toys and things and were interrogated by several vendors for simply picking up things asking if we could buy them. One vendor approached us quickly and said "that's $20 if they break it!". Another came out of no-where when we were going through a bin of NFL keychains to find their favorite team, and the vendor rudely approached us and said "look just ask me for what team you want!". Another approached our youngest and said "you just like touching everything. Can I help you? How would you like it if I came to your room and touched all your toys? You wouldn't like that would you?". Ma'am, you have different toy cars sitting around and he was trying to find the one that would complete his set. He did not pick up every single car, he was not messing up your display, he didn't knock anything over, etc. He was excited to see them and touched them (but did not pick them up) to indicate which ones he had/did not have. He is a child. You have items for sale that people will inspect. I thought that was so rude and unnecessary. He thought he did something wrong and quickly lost interest. We left afterward. I get that it is a tight, cramped space, and people cannot be trusted. At the same time, interrogating customers, treating people like criminals for merely engaging with your booth is not good...

Don’t be a vendor at Columbus! The place is going downhill !! And the market is empty because the vendors are not coming. It use to be $20 for two spots On Thursdays. Now it’s $25 for one spot. I pulled in on Thursday like I normally do. I haven’t been there in over a year and I got my two spots and the asshole came around and said that you have to give me $25 more for the second spot. I said I always came here for years and years and had two spots on Thursdays for 20 bucks and last year I came and paid $25 for two spots. He said that never happened. But I have a friend Don that I knew for years and it still there as a vendor And he confirmed that yes it was called a Bogo and they did away with it so the guy basically just lied to my face and he was rude about it. I almost knocked him out !Go to rices in Doyle’s town as you get two spots for $25 or new Egypt 2 spots...

I've been coming to Columbus flea market since I was a kid. You can find absolutely anything that you're looking for here at great prices! Don't miss Kate and Al's pizza And the best fried chicken and JoJo potatoes at the Chicken Coop! The highlight of my trip there is always Cannulli's Italian Delights, a fresh produce market in front of the main building. They sell the freshest produce at the BEST prices, Italian cheeses and salami, Pasta imported from Italy, fresh seafood and much more!
