Historically, I don't leave reviews. However, I feel compelled to after our visit this weekend. My wife was scheduled to be induced on Saturday, 9/28/24, for the birth of our second child. Being pregnant and giving birth is the most stressful event my wife has ever gone through. Her words, not mine. I would like to start out by leaving a glowing review for Dr. Tillman and the nursing staļ¬, then I will speak on our terrible experience with the OB/GYN Tama L. Franklin. Dr. Tillman has helped us through this process for the past 9 months and has been amazing! I would highly recommend expecting mothers to call Dr. Tillman. The nursing staļ¬ was amazing as well! They were all very attentive and helpful during our short stay at the hospital. Our daily nurse was very helpful and comforting to my wife when I was away taking care of our daughter or getting my wife 7 Brew Coļ¬ee. Dr. Hearty was very prompt when scheduling our son's circumcision after his birth, she took care of it first thing on Monday morning and discharged our son shortly after 8 AM. Her and her oļ¬ce staļ¬ communicated great as always! The nurses told us that my wife would be discharged by Tama L. Franklin. Being the only OB in on Monday, we figured it might take a while for her to get to us. I asked the nursing staļ¬ if they could send a note to possibly have Tama squeeze my wife's 5 minute discharge in at some point early in the day. Tama had a busy day at the clinic with patients. The clinic was about a 4 minute walk from our room. We received word back that she might be able to make it over around 1, so that gave my postpartum wife some hope that she would be comfortably back home with her children in several hours. My wife had been suļ¬ering from separation anxiety from our daughter and postpartum anxiety. Understandably, she was on the verge of a mental breakdown almost all day after our son was discharged. We waited patiently until 1. No Tama, no word was sent either. Poor communication. We continued to wait patiently for another 4 hours. At this point my wife had been waiting on Tama for 9 hours to be discharged. Once the clinic closed at 5, I decided to walk 4 mins to her oļ¬ce to see what was going on. I didn't yell or cuss, but I did ask the assistant what was going on. I also explained my wife's mental state, which they had no regard for. She just wanted to be home with her family. Apparently, me walking to her oļ¬ce and asking what the hold up was on my wife's behalf triggered old Tama. 10.5 hours after our sons discharge, angry Tama showed up. Out of spite, she made sure to discharge the other mothers on the floor first. Saving the best for last. My wife is sweet, sensitive, and loving. She would've stayed locked up in that room all week before asking someone what was going on. When Tama entered the room, she immediately asked who walked over to her oļ¬ce and left a note. I raised my hand, I had been caught! All she cared about was being snarky to me, she cared less how about my wife was doing. We had family in the room to support my wife and see our son. Tama decided to act like she cared and wanted to know every detail about every person in the room, just so my wife would have to wait in the room for even longer and speak to someone that she didn't want to talk to. Mind you, this is just after Tama was out on the floor talking trash on me to the staļ¬. We had the privilege of learning about her very POWERFUL politician sister Senator Sandy Crawford. You did't fool us, Tama. We know you could care less about my wife and her family. Regardless, we were discharged!! Tama walked to the exit, and decided to see us oļ¬ while she continued to talk trash on me to the staļ¬. As we walked out she patronized me in front staļ¬ about my so called "impatience". Instead of helping my wife like she should've done, she targeted me for trying to help my wife. We don't understand how a grown women that has been practicing in the medical field for 30 years can be so petty and uncompassionate towards people. We will be praying for Tama. Thanks to...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could leave 0 stars I would!!! I had found out I had noninvasive breast cancer in both my breasts but was very close to becoming invasive, praise God it was caught before that happened! Had my cousin not found a lump in her breast I would've never checked myself and it would've become invasive! Praise God my cousins lump was benign! I had to have a bilateral mastectomy done because the cancer was taking up most of my breasts so they had to be removed. I had a terrible time at the hospital staying there overnight, I wasn't taken care of the way I should've, I was in pain for about 4 hours before they finally gave me pain meds. I screamed and cried because I hurt so badly my sister took videos of me in pain, they were doing things they shouldn't have done like take my blood pressure on my right side because I had lymph nodes taken from that side. They done nothing but lie to me. But the thing is I'm not the only one this has happened to, I strongly feel I'm going through this so that I may help others so it doesn't happen to anyone else. I won't stop until they do something about it, what they put me and many others through should not happen! I'm just so glad I had many witnesses during that difficult time, I was told by my nurse at check in before they wheeled me into surgery that when they take me to my room I need to make sure to let them know when I'm in pain because it can be very difficult to manage the pain if it gets out of control, which it did because the nurse Tracey lied and said I had no notes and I wasn't in the system yet which that was a lie because I spoke to Dr Biggers which is my surgeon about my bad experience the next day when he came in to check on me, he was livid! They took my blood pressure from my right arm all night and half the day the next day which they wasn't supposed to, I'm not allowed to EVER have my blood pressure checked through my arms because they removed lymph nodes out of each breast so it could cause a long term infection and complications which I didn't know this until around 9:30am-10am the next day! The other nurse Cell kept coming in every 5-10 mins to check my blood pressure, during that time I was in an extreme amount of pain so I asked her to please just leave me alone until my pain is managed. My sister overheard nurse Tracey telling nurse Cell that she won't give me anything until my blood pressure is taken! They both should've known not to take my blood pressure through my arms, it was in my dang notes stating everything to do and not to do! The nurses in the recovery room had also went against my Drs notes and put an ice pack on my chest, it causes blood flow to slow down and could cause blood clots in my chest causing complications. I would've been better off at home after my surgery! They had also checked my blood sugar level which wasn't necessary and wasn't in my notes to have done. It was bad enough I had to go through a bilateral mastectomy at age 34, that's enough stress and discomfort in itself! I say if you don't enjoy your job helping take care of people then you shouldn't be a nurse! I will do whatever it takes to get justice for having to go through the pain and suffering I had to...
