I was going to visit, but I was part of the QPS Clinical trial, for the past three months. GPS told me that they weren’t going to take me anymore because I had voiced my concerns with regard to the safety of the place and other concerns regarding Them, not maintaining promises regarding cleanliness of the facility, or safety regarding the place. They didn’t have pull cords regarding emergency situations, nor did they dismiss people who constantly spoke about politics or the volume of the television after 12 midnight. Anyway, I would have loved to have seen this place, but Because of my bad experiences, and Springfield, Missouri in general, I decided to forgo it and Branson. If I were you and I would just passing through, I would keep passing through. That is if you are going there just to do a study at QPS. Just do your study, keep your mouth shut, and keep going.Missouri is not big on freedom of...

Interesting collection of many different types of vintage automobiles. Collection included a couple of novelty cars - Ghostbusters and Batmobile. Took us about 45 minutes to see everything.

15$ Entry fee is expensive compare to heart of route 66 car museum in Tulsa which is 6.5$ .

We always look for auto museums to go see when we are on vacation so it was a no brained to visit this one. There were quite a few rare vehicles that I had never heard of before. Plus, there were a couple of movie vehicles (batmobile and the Ghostbusters station wagon). If you are looking for muscle cars, you might be a little disappointed. There was a Camaro and a couple of Corvettes, but that’s all I saw. I really enjoyed seeing the vehicles from the 30s...

What a gem! There is some REAL history here. There is one of 8 original Batmobiles There is one of 5 commissioned Ecto-1 vehicles from the promotion of the ladies' Gostbusters movie. Goering's car is there--yes, captured during WWII. There's a whole row of Jaguars. An original Springfield Conestoga wagon. An Auburn! Two Bantums! A Delorean!

If you like cars, this is for you, and it will not disappoint. All the cars are licensed, insured AND drivable! There are chairs and benches scattered around If you need to take a break while looking. If you have time, go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday when Tom who mans the register has time to tell stories. Also, take time to eat at the College...

A hidden gem! We're not car enthusiasts by far, but do appreciate the beauty and incredible aspects of these man-made tools and works of art. Loved talking to the curator. The admission fee was a surprise @ first, but easily understood once we realized the value of this museum. We picked our dream cars (haha) and ended buying some great souvenirs from the wares that were really for sale. At least the ones we could afford. Will leave it to the pros for those cars like some of the celebrities who had owned them! Definitely recommend this for anyone who appreciates gorgeous cars from bygone eras, and for anyone who should be introduced to them!

I'm from Detroit. I grew up at the Henry Ford and seeing the automobile museum there. I love cars. This museum was worth checking out. Some very unique cars here. A good handful are described as still running and taken out from time to time. I would love to see that! Cute gift shop. Friendly greeter. Pictures are allowed and encouraged. No touching the cars or getting inside. Very cool old memorabilia and signs hanging on the wall. Interesting old telegram asserting that Springfield MO officials were responsible for naming it Rte 66. Go here! Great place to go if the weather isn't cooperating.
