Majorette — Attraction in St. Louis

Majorette proved to be the best place for us to get married and have a reception and we're so glad we chose it. The place is unique and has character but in a way that allows you to put your own spin on things to make your event your own. I could not be happier with the way the space turned out looking the day of our wedding.

We chose to do both ceremony and reception in the space and the team worked to ensure things went just like we envisioned. It was an easy transition while the team flipped the room and we got a lot of compliments on how unique the venue was and how smooth things seemed to go.

The team at Majorette is huge part of my 5 star review! When we found Majorette they were willing to show the space to my friend with me on FaceTime as we live out of town and then again when I was able to visit in person. We had a coordinator transition happen a few months in but no one skipped a beat. Brenden got up to speed and was all over the details. He was professional but approachable and as the day got closer, I felt supported by his checking in and ensuring last minute things were taken care of. He was also super helpful offering advice or ideas for some things I just wasn't sure about. Having him around the day-of was also huge. We were so glad he was there to help and work with our day-of coordinator and we got several compliments from family and guests that interacted with him about how helpful and friendly he was. His flexibility to some changes we made, especially during the reception, was so appreciated too.

We hosted our son’s Bar Mitzvah party at Majorette, and it was absolutely incredible. The venue itself was amazing—spacious, flexible, and competitively priced with other similar options in St. Louis. I was able to design the perfect setup for about 75 guests, and it exceeded all of our expectations.

We worked closely with Brenden, who went above and beyond to make the day perfect. He provided thoughtful recommendations on how to arrange the space for photos, food, the bar, seating, and the dance floor. He also helped create stunning balloon décor, beautiful lighting, and curtains that brought everything together. The bar service was excellent, and Brenden helped craft a menu of beverages for both kids and adults, with alcoholic options and fun mocktails. One of the biggest highlights was the game room downstairs—this was the selling point for my son, and it gave the kids their own fun place to play while the party kept going upstairs.

On the day of the event, Alysia was our main point of contact and was outstanding. She was everywhere, managing logistics seamlessly so that I could focus on being the hostess. At the end of the night, the team handled all of the cleanup, leaving me free to simply pack up and head out with nothing but wonderful memories.

The only reason I give our review of the Majorette 4/5 stars is unprofessional communication handled by our initial coordinator, Deidre Mattson. Two weeks out from our wedding she had left the company, but did not notify us nor did management check in to see if we were aware of the change. While this was a very frustrating hiccup in the planning process, our new coordinator for those last two weeks, Brenden Kleiboeker, was phenomenal in sorting everything on the back end, making last minute changes we requested, and making sure we had a PHENOMINAL evening for our wedding, even providing complementary drinks for the bridal party as we arrived.

We received so many compliments on our venue, it was easy to coordinate with our vendors, had great photos, and even though our wedding had a 100 or so people the space did not feel too big or echoed for our day. I highly recommend getting the game room, as many guests told us it was their favorite part of the night and was something they had never experienced before. The outdoor space and second level gave our guests plenty of room to explore, and the bridal suite was great for those who just wanted to sit around and talk at the end of the night.
