The Gathering McCausland — Attraction in St. Louis

Where do I even begin? I'm not sure that a review or even testimony is adequate enough to describe what this home of God has done for me spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. My journey as a follower of Christ began here and I continue to grow with Jesus each and every time I come here be it through his wonderful people, positive messaging of love, peace, hope, and joy which renews my faith in the Lord, or the heart melting music. God's people and the Holy Spirit are truly at work here! Kuddos to the United Methodist Church for practicing acceptance and gratitude through their works and servitude. I highly recommend anyone come here if they are seeking a opportunity to enjoy amazing services and community! Definitely one of the best places to go to become a follower of Christ in my humble opinion. "Faith without good works is dead."...

The Gathering is a Methodist Church that fully embraces inclusion of everyone. The McCausland site opened in the fall of 2018 and is quite a remarkable venue for both church and activities. Everyone that works and volunteers there is clearly there with passion in their purpose and makes it a wonderful experience. There is children's worship during regular services, but there are many that bring their children into the main room. The service is broadcast into the lobby. This is truly a state-of-the-art facility with audio visual top notch, which really enhances a very talented group of musicians that perform. I am very sad to say that The Gathering ( despite the fact that their "slogan" is 'For All' ) have found out very abruptly that ...they truely are Not "for all". My husband, myself, and two children, were kicked out of this church for asking the pastor to personally respond to some questions of doctrine and help during a trying time dealing with loss of life of close friends and family.
