Formerly Junior High School Park because there once was a junior high school there, Ryan Hummert Memorial Park has become a place of both fun, spectacular views, and reverence. Renamed in honor of a fallen firefighter, there's something for everyone to enjoy. A playground for the kids. A baseball/soccer field for friends to play sports. A fence surrounds most of the park, making it ideal to play with the dog with a reduced chance of them running off. Read moreThis is our local Park. It offers baseball/ softball, concert events. It has restrooms, a Pavillion complete with tables and built in charcoal grills (2). It also has a nice play area that is easy to monitor your child with one parent. The playground is fairly safe and offers a padded ground, and lots of features to keep your child active and having fun. The grounds are well kept and the playground is currently getting an upgrade/repair. I recommend this park for young and old, you can run and play, even if your favorite game is sitting...
