Sister Marie Charles Park — Attraction in St. Louis

Great little out of the way river front park with benches overlooking the water and barges. Tree lined nicely maintained concrete walk way. Negatives, because it is so out of the way sometimes there are homeless camps at the far end down by the railroad tracks. Never had an issue here but just something I've noticed. What a pity! This seemed to be a nice place back in the days, now it is dirty, overgrown with weeds and poison ivy. Looks abandoned, the light poles are broken, some lights about to fall. Definitely not a place to go at night, even in the day there are some questionable...

Almost got robbed, stay away. Wanted to stop and look at the river while driving through, almost turned out badly. Two people in a truck blocked the entrance and started throwing there hands up and making signs with their hands. I had to drive over the curb to get away....
