I discovered this restaurant on Google and decided to give it a try while visiting from Georgia with a friend. We wanted some caribbean food, and the online menu gave us a good idea of the selections and pricing. At first, I wasn’t sure we were in the right place since we were driving through a residential area, but we eventually located the restaurant and were able to park conveniently right out front. When we walked in, the restaurant was empty. A woman was seated at the bar, though it wasn’t clear at first if she was a customer or staff. We did not receive a greeting until after we sat at the bar for a brief moment. Once we looked at the menus, we noticed something unusual, every single menu had the prices blacked out. When we asked about pricing, the woman told us to name what we wanted, and she would tell us the cost. For example, when my friend asked about flavored wings, her exact response was “eighteen dollars and something.” When he asked about yams, the answer was “five dollars and something.” To make matters worse, the lady told us they didn’t accept credit or debit cards, we had to pay in cash only! We decided not to order, as it felt uncomfortable to play a guessing game with the menu prices. To be fair, the woman explained that her sister had recently raised the food prices and new menus had not yet been provided. While price increases are understandable, offering customers at least a temporary printed menu with updated pricing would create transparency and a better dining experience. Ultimately, we left without ordering. Unfortunately, our first impression was disappointing. The lack of clear communication, absence of a proper menu, and overall customer service left much to be desired. Three restaurants in one day, and every single one had disappointing service.

I've ordered from this place through doordash twice. Both times were a bust. The 1st go, I ordered oxtails(which are nothing more than a cows tail) and they sent me a bowl of bones and beans. There was nothing meaty about them at all. That was a waste of $30. The 2nd go which was yesterday I ordered the chicken pasta, mac cheese, and yams. Instead of my yams and mac, they sent me 2 cold bowls of flavorless cajun rice. The pasta was super salty I guess in an attempt to make it taste like something. Absolutely terrible. Listen, cooking and preparing meals is an art that has to be done with love. If you aren't in business to provide that, just go OUT OF BUSINESS and leave the cooking to ppl who are passionate about their craft. So I'm warning you in advance before you fave the disappointment, SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I found this place, because I'm over due for a vacation! The owner was very nice and pleasant. Food is very good. I had the oxtails, Caribbean rice, cabbage and the potato salad. When I say I had to save a very small portion of everything, just to be able to taste it again the next day. Caribbean Soul can definitely have more of my money!!

I ordered on Doordash. I ordered the fried catfish, macaroni and yams and it came with corn bread. I did not like any of the food BUT the yams. I was so highly disappointed. I picked over my food and threw the rest off. From the pic that I will share, the fish looks good. You would think that it was well seasoned, but when I took a bite, that was not the case. It wasn't really seasoned and the texture of the fish, I don't know if it was really catfish or what was going on. I did not like the fish at all. Also the macaroni was horrible. When you look at it, it looks like mashed potatoes. It did not taste good at all. The yams tasted pretty good and the corn bread that is it. I doubt that I will try this place again. I am truly...
