I love going to St. Ambrose parish for 5 pm Saturday Mass. The friendly attitude of all the parishioners is the best. I do not live in this parish but love going to Mass there & then have dinner on the Hill. Fr. Bommarito walks down the aisle before Mass greeting people & making everyone feel so welcome. I always enjoy his sermon. He makes sense in his sermons and is to the point and doesn’t linger on & on like many other priests do. The church is always packed when we go & that says a lot too. Read moreIt's a "modern Italian" church. It's more about the people in the pews than the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. I'm used to old school Italians and silence and beads. If you want a reverent Mass, I don't suggest going here. It is a beautiful church but with all the noise it's rather difficult to appreciate the devotion with which it was built.
