I take my dog there 2-3 times a week and she enjoys it as do I. However it badly needs lighting and more seating. A water source actually inside the enclosure and the grass reseeded in the front section. Some trees planted would be a great addition as well are just a few ideas. Lighting in the fall and winter months is especially a problem as many pet parents don't get off work to make it in the daylight and u end up standing with your dog in the dark there as I and many others have and it's not safe! Solar lighting may be a good option. One more thing, a message board of some kind where people can share pet info like dog grooming , the dog church downtown, etc would be very helpful too! So, bring a book and your dog and come relax while...
Read moreFun place to meet a variety of people and dogs. I think my old companion enjoys this place almost as much as I do. Adequate parking, a bit of shade if needed (in large dog area), a third fenced-in area (for marginal dogs I guess, or when main section is too muddy) picnic tables & benches, also water, porta-potty's, a fishing pond & skate park nearby. Poo bags & trash, some agility props...what's there not to like about it? Once I visited early on a Saturday afternoon and counted 28 dogs running loose and playing with each other and as many people including some toddlers. Lots of free...
