Went to S&W to purchase a washing machine because the one we had, that was less than a year old, had broken down and to get a repair man to fix it was unknown to the company from which we purchased it. So we decided to buy one to use until a repair man became available and when he did we would give this one to our daughter. My wife , my elderly wife, must have asked this man one too many times when it would get delivered. She came rushing back to the front and told me that she had asked him when it would be delivered and he said " I told you when, do I have to beat it into your head?" Now, I am 70 and a disabled veteran and I knew that I would only make it worse by going back there. We left. Not knowing what to do we went to Lowes were we bought the broken one. We had been unable to geta hold of anybody the day before on the phone, but when we got there the manager apologized to my wife for the problems the washer had caused. Did a buy back took $100 off the one she bought. And THAT is how you treat old...

This man was amazing! He knew exactly what the problem was; in, out, gone in 20 minutes!! For my washer in June. Two weeks ago I had left a voicemail for a service call on my Mom's dryer. It would only work on the timed cycle. Low and behold I get a call from Patrick one of the service guys. I tell him what's going on, and he then explains that the dryer hose to the vent needed cleaning. Well, let's just say Patrick is definitely an A+!! The real kicker is; he called back today to see if indeed that was the problem!!! I went in S&W Appliance today to buy a freezer. I could not get waited on. There appeared to be only one sales person available. He was with another customer and another person was waiting as well. I spent about 10 minutes in the store hoping to get waited on. It didn`t happen. The salesman was still with the original customer. This is not the first time I have had problems getting waited on at this store. Too much competition in appliances to put up with this. I will go elsewhere. I feel certain that S&W Appliance does not care one way or the other. They will collect their pay whether they sell me a...
