ShenanArts — Attraction in Staunton

I have been both an audience and a cast member at this theater. It's a fun venue in a former public high school. It helps if you don't have mobility limitations, because the parking area is on the former outdoor stadium (track) level. There are about 50 steps to the drive up area, then another 10 or so to the front door. If someone drives you to the theater, they can come to the drive up area where there is a ramp. The theater was clean and nice, the staff was friendly and helpful. The theater did get a bit too warm, especially after it was filled with people, but it wasn't unbearably so. There was a small fire under the stage when i was there and that situation was handled very well. The people who run ShenanArts are super friendly & helpful to any and all questions. The shows are very good & very, VERY well done. The price of admission is perfect for the experience of such amazing shows, actors, dancers & singers. Cost of concessions is very inexpenssive. Also, kid friendly.
