It's a well planned and laid out playground with something for every age group. I've got a 3 year old and a just barely walking 1 year old, and the rubber ground is ideal for his toddling, scooting, and falling! There are canvas covers with some seating for caregivers and even a picnic table just off the playground for meals and snacks. There is a volleyball sand pit next to it. There are also public bathrooms. They aren't perfect, but they were the best-looking public bathrooms I had seen on a Friday afternoon. he grounds are kept clean - I was there when a county staff person came through to pick up litter and empty trash cans. Two complaints: there are a lot of blind spots so you can't always see e ery part of the playground bc of a curve in the grounds. Second, which is in the same category, is the swings are completely separate from the main playground. It's separated by a fence and a small waterway, which is what makes me a bit nervous. All in all, it's an excellent playground, possibly the best...
Read moreThis is a nice playground with a nice pavilion and the bathroom is pretty clean. Biggest issue/downside is the bees. They are not honey bees, they hang around the trash and sniff around the play equipment. They are all over. The also consistently buzz around people and their things trying to find food. While I enjoy bringing my kids here and letting them play, I really wish something could be done about the bees. My youngest got stung once already. There is also a lot of traffic noise but that's to be expected. Other than that it's a great place to let kids play, get some of fresh air, and run off energy. Also a great area for a picnic or family gathering. I believe the pavilion needs to be rented for...
Read moreThis is a FANTASTIC playground. It's HUGE and has basically EVERYTHING a child could want--including basketball courts, tennis courts, and even a sand volleyball pit. It has a bathroom which is a PLUS. I only hesitate to give "5-stars" because it can get tricky with little kids to watch them 100%. As a parent obviously you should always be watching your kids, but it's not COMPLETELY fenced in so you really have to watch them like a hawk--if bringing multiple kids I would just recommend bringing your partner or someone to help watch them. It's clean (because it's been updated COMPLETELY in the past couple years) and is fun for ALL ages, as the play structures vary from...
