Every CVS in the area except this CVS is willing to help. Won’t even answer a question if they have a medication in stock because I did not physically have a copy of the prescription in hand, this prescription is on back order all over the place. My assumption is they have it, but they will not answer the question very unhelpful I will never ever go to the CVS again. Mind you the prescription is for a 10-year-old little boy that suffers from Crohn’s disease and ADHD. I had the same issue last month with the same exact prescription went into multiple CVS locations, called on the phone. Everybody was kind told me if they had it in stock or if they didn’t found a place that had it in stock did not have a hardcopy called my child’s doctor and had a prescription faxed over immediately and got the medication. I understand they cannot hold the medication but if they have it, they can say they do at that time, and I can at least try to fill the medication but the pharmacist refused to give me an answer and told me I needed the paper copy just to answer the question.
Update: I called different CVS and guess what the pharmacist told me they had the medication in stock. My reply was I know you can not hold it however I’m going to have my sons doctor send the medication over first thing in the morning. The pharmacist was great and said we will keep an eye out and if we can not fill it I will call you!! Don’t understand why it was so difficult for the pharmacist is at the stoneham CVS to to give a straight answer.
I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THE STONEHAM CVS AGAIN. You treat me rude, a mother who is trying to help her son, you don’t deserve my business!! The biggest part of why was his attitude and believe me he got my attitude back and I’m not that type of person but he rubbed me the wrong way. It was a...
Read moreI called the store, pressed option 9 for covid info, interacted with robot because I was not important enough to have a person to talk to me. It told me walks in were acceptable and covid boosters were being offered. Drove to the store. There is a sign on the counter that boosters requires an appointment. The person that came to see me could not schedule an appointment or tell me of the next availability. Went home used the vaccine schedule on cvs.com which is AWFUL. You answer a bunch of questions, then finally a zip code, and select a day. Store did not show up for today. Then I selected tomorrow, select the store, click on available times and the told there are no times available. You do this for 14 dates * 30 stores = 420 times. Didn't find any appointments that I was interestd in. The feedback link doesn't work. The contact us is a phone number, and I got passed around to provide you the app feedback and eventually in a hold queue 19 minutes. Tell me the next available date upfront instead of wasting my time. Give me an option to let you contact me when you have an appointment (yeah, first come first serve, or do a temporarily hold of for 15 minutes for each invite, or just book the appointment and let me...
Read moreThere's a reason why this CVS has a 2.8 star review.
Here's my experience. My wife is suffering in pain and just got back home from Urgent Care. She did not initially have a prescription called in but after we were talking (I was surprised they didn't) Urgent Cate called her and said that they wrote up an antibiotic after consulting with another doctor. Once she received the notification on her phone that the prescription was ready I rushed over to pick it up. Pulled up to the drive-thru at 6:57 PM, and they shut the window on me.
Okay...Maybe they just closed the drive-thru a little early. So, I park, run inside, and ask, “Hey, is the pharmacy still open?” The guy literally shuts the window in my face and says “We’re closed.”
I check my phone. 6:59 PM. Look, I get it—everyone wants to go home. But if the pharmacy closes at 7:00 PM, why are they locking people out before then? Ridiculous. If I show up before closing time, I should be able to pick up a prescription. It’s not like I was asking for an emergency refill at 7:05.
CVS, you should do better. People rely on your pharmacy for actual medicine, not a game of “beat the clock before employees decide they’re done for the day.”
I'll be 100% sure to escalate this...
