Rudest and meanest employees ever encountered, no manager on duty on a Saturday evening. I was picking up 2 orders for a food delivery gig. I believe there were 3 young men and a young girl working. I gave the employees the names of the orders, and they said they were working on them. The oldest of the men immediately went and made the shake for one of the orders; I smiled and thanked him, and waited patiently for the rest of the orders. After about ten minutes, I noticed they were all standing around and didn't seem very busy so I politely asked one of the young men - tall, glasses, long hair in ponytail - if my orders were almost ready. He kept mumbling something quietly, and I just kept saying, "I'm sorry I can't hear you." This seemed to annoy him, as he rolled his eyes and walked away. I told him he was being rude. Then he kept saying, "I don't know what else to do for you." I honestly didn't know what he meant by this because I couldn't hear anything he said before that. Then he said something like, "If you don't want to wait then just leave." I said that I just wanted to know how much longer it was going to take. He still refused to answer. At that point, none of the employees would even acknowledge me. I was not even sure if I was going to get the orders. I went over and waited quietly by the shake that had been sitting there for 10 minutes. A shorter, dark haired young man with thick eyebrows came over and asked me how long the shake had been sitting there. I told him it had been made 10 minutes earlier when I first arrived. He took the shake and dumped it in the trash and proceeded to make another one. I asked him why they were all so angry with me, and why they were being so rude. I said I had worked in the restaurant business for 15 years ago and i would have never had treated patrons that way. He said, "if you worked in the restaurant business before you should understand that we're busy." I never, at any point, complained about my food taking too long. I simply tried to inquire about when it would be ready. Again, he ignored me and walked away. I no longer felt comfortable in the establishment so I walked out. As I walked out, the young men cheered. I had to call my gig support to report the incident. My car happened to be parked right in from of the restaurant, so the employees could see me clearly out the window. As I was talking on the phone, they started to taunt me, wave at me sarcastically, and point and laugh. The shorter, dark haired boy with thick eyebrows held his drink up to me as if to toast me, as he walked to the restroom. These boys had absolutely no supervision, were abusing customers, and behaving like they were in a fraternity house. And worstly, the orders had to be cancelled and 2 paying customers did not receive their meals that evening. I will never patronise or deliver for a five...
Read moreBeen a loyal customer for a long time, and will not be returning after tonight. We arrived around 9:40 pm and the customer service was horrendous. I understand that people want to leave work, but you don't have to make people feel bad about coming in at that time. I ordered a chocolate shake, and the woman yelled and screamed at the guy that made the shake not to make another one. I felt so bad for the guy that made my shake. She was swearing behind the counter using profanities in front of paying customers. My husband ordered a coke from the soda fountain and at 9:45 pm she was cleaning the soda machine, so he couldn't even get one. A customer called at 9:50 pm and she yelled to the guy to tell him that they were closed. But you weren't closed, you were open. So I'm just curios if you treat all your paying customers that walk in around 9:40 the same way. I will also be filling out a survey. I will give the woman an A plus for cleaning, but an F for...
Read moreI ordered a cheeseburger and veggie sandwich with cheese for pick up at 5:45 pm. We get there at 5:45 pm, wait for 20 minutes because our food isn’t ready, then we get our food. The veggie sandwich doesn’t have cheese on it, so we ask for cheese. 10 minutes later we get the veggie sandwich and there’s two burger patties on them. I ask why there’s hamburger on my veggie sandwich and if they can remake it and the woman I’m speaking with doesn’t understand the problem and has to call the manager over. I tell the manager the problem and he goes to remake my sandwich. Another 10 minutes later, I get my veggie sandwich and it’s cold and the mushrooms and onions are not fully cooked. I usually like Five Guys but this experience alone is enough to not make me come back or recommend it to anyone. I’m very disappointed in this experience...
