Three Amigos Mexican Taqueria — Restaurant in Stoneham

Very unassuming place, tucked in by the side of a plaza, you barely see it driving by the road but what a Gem! That’s why I love writing down reviews and give out recommendations. This small tiny store front hides a not so small restaurant, once you walk in through the door there’s a decent amount of tables and booths waiting for customers to serve. What really stand out to me right upfront was how clean this place is, really a comfy and inviting atmosphere with colorful decorations. Right away the server invites me to pick whichever table I like, so I did. Next he offers me chips and asks “mild or hot salsa?” I went with hot which proves to be the best choice. I had a glass bottle coke in the best Mexican fashion and then ordered Carne Assada which was amazing, juicy and yummy, with guac and sour cream… One of the best I’ve ever had. Great Mexican food in Stoneham. We came here for dinner on a Friday night. They were quite busy with both dine in and take out orders. The chips and salsa were good. We ordered the ultimate burrito and enchiladas both with shredded beef. The beans, rice, and sauces were all delicious and flavorful. The beef itself was a bit bland and dry. I would have preferred more flavor and little more moisture in it. Otherwise tasted great.

As for the service staff is very friendly, and the food comes out quickly. The decor is nice and the atmosphere is casual. I can’t wait to try more menu items.

In Stoneham this is the best Mexican food you’ll find. We have tried a few others but this place is top. You can definitely find “nicer” spots closer to Somerville and Boston. And maybe better options in Lawrence, since there is more variety. But definitely a great option for a quick and...

This restaurant makes super tasty, authentic Mexican cuisine. My go-to is the Ultimate burrito, shown in the photo, which is a gigantic, delicious combination of flavors. I typically order half chicken half ground beef, which comes with refried beans and yellow rice. It is, by far, the most satisfying burrito I’ve had. The chicken tacos are also another amazing option. Perfectly seasoned chicken on a yummy flour tortilla, with tomato and sour cream, then topped with shredded mozzarella cheese. The GUACAMOLE IS UNBELIEVABLE!!! It is the freshest guacamole in existence! It is so good. Lastly, they allow you to bring alcohol to the restaurant, which is a great place to gather for any occasion.
