Streator Eagle 6 — Attraction in Streator

I'm current visiting in Streator and love the local theater here. They upgraded alot of things since the last time I was in town including the reclining chairs! For every $50 you spend if you have the get a rewards card you get free popcorn or drink. They are completely upping their game!

The manager is also amazing, personable and just super helpful! She assisted me when I called the number on their website, you have to call that one to toeal with someone, not the Google number that will just give you the number from the website to reach the manager. I ended up buying tickets to Tag, but I got the wrong time since I bought them online. Rachel was so understanding and changed them out for me even though the movie was in FIVE MINUTES! She even cared enough to explain about the seating differences and walked me thru everything since I was unfamiliar. . .thanks for taking the time Rachel! Your the best! Have been back quite few times with grandkids since moving back to Streator but I am so tired of coming to see a movie and being harassed to buy things. No means no! Last I was here I ordered nachos and saw not one but TWO dogs running around where my food came out of. Barking like crazy the whole time. The employee said the dogs belonged to the manager of the theater. I am allergic to dogs! I thought this was repulsive and surely a health hazard. Did not report to health department but did email the owner and got no response. Decided to try again recently and was harassed to purchase a margarita. I understand making sales but I almost missed the beginning of my movie. Also have witnessed the manager yell at poor employees on many occasions. Heard she mistreats her staff and has her dogs there often from people around town. Will not be returning and will make the drive to Ottawa. Get...

I was disappointed in our visit to the Streator Eagle theater today. While the theater was clean and staff was friendly, I did however, experience another issue. I took my grandsons to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It was a very cute movie and they really enjoyed it. The girl at the concession told us that it was free popcorn day. Great! We'll have popcorn and I said we would just have water to drink. Do you want bottled water? I responded, no, that just cups of water from fountain would be fine. Didn't think much of it until later I realized we were charged $9 for two cups of water! I went back to concessions and asked her if this was right. She said, yes, that any drinks from soda fountain are $4.50. She said we might as well have had soda. I guess...
