My sister and I came to this store to look for a wedding outfit. We already had gone to a store the day before with our friend and bride and knew our size. But we wanted to check out something closer to where my sister lived and ensure we found the perfect outfit.
Even though we were familiar with our sizes and different styles of wear, when we grabbed outfits to try on, the person working there insisted that the size was way too small. It wasn’t. But okay. She’s being helpful. I thought. So, I decided to try on one outfit because, well, maybe she’s right.
No, the outfit was two-three sizes too big—both the bottom and top.
So. I came out to show my sister. That’s when I saw the same person grab an outfit from my sister because she said it wasn’t her size. It was. The owner proceeded to say it was a size small. It wasn’t. But ok. Then she disgustingly insisted on measuring my sister again, even though she had been measured by the other person working there.
It was apparent that either this person was in denial or genuinely didn’t care to help us.
Oh, and to give you some perspective, I’m a size four. And normally wear size XS or Small tops. So, again, there were outfits there that would fit. But I could sense that my sister and I didn’t have the “ideal” body type for the clothes she wanted to sell... which I’m sorry… it’s unrealistic. Yes, we don’t have thigh gaps. Yes, we have breast and hips. Yet despite all of this we are also petite, which shouldn’t matter, but again, putting it into perspective. I can’t even imagine someone else who is slightly more curvy than us having a great experience here. So yeah, the experience was far from pleasant and unreal.
I genuinely wonder why anyone would support this business. I’m perplexed. There are so many other options in the area and elsewhere in Houston. Please don’t waste your time; go somewhere that doesn't body shame you and is welcoming. Go somewhere where they’re happy to help you find your size and guide you in the right direction. We found that at the store we went to previously and after this encounter.
Go support a store that doesn’t have a hateful,...
Read moreBad customer service!!! With my higher educational background in business, I know that the FIRST priority in any business is customer service. This place lacks any sort of customer service, relations, or satisfaction. I found the outfit I have been envisioning for a family wedding just as I walked into this store. I ended up buying it but the lady working here was very disorganized, unfriendly, and seemed very uninterested (unhelpful) in helping me out when I asked her multiple times. I ended up doing everything myself. My family of 3 and I found a clear black stain on the white outfit and the lady working here said that the black stain was not a stain and was the stitching instead. IT WAS A CLEAR STAIN. I ended up buying it and will take it to a dry cleaner to see if they can remove it since it is a clear black stain on the front of the white shirt. She did not even package my 1000$ + outfit in a proper bag after spending that much money. I am very disappointed in this business and establishment. They need to hire workers that can actually help customers. I will be telling all my friends and family who live in the Sugar Land area about my experience here.
I would recommend Almas Tejani, High Fashion, Palkhi Fashion, and ESPECIALLY Posh Wear if you would like reasonable prices, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, and...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with the service at this store. The sales associate, Soraya, was shockingly unprofessional and treated us as if we couldn’t afford the clothes we were trying on — even though we ended up purchasing multiple outfits totaling over $2,000. We put multiple outfits aside for the fitting room and bought more than half, yet she constantly rushed us as if we were an inconvenience. To make matters worse, she rushed us at checkout because their restroom was out of order and she needed to go next door — having us helping pack our own purchases after already receiving poor service. The final straw was an outfit with a broken tassel that she promised to have repaired overnight for us to pick up in the morning. When we called to check if it was ready for pickup , she casually told us it had been sold and was never repaired for us as promised. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. Writing a negative review was not my first option as I called back to speak to the owner/manager and was told that was not going to happen, but there should most definitely be some sort of consequence. The only reason this store stays in business is because of the quality brands they carry, not because of the staff. Soraya’s attitude and lack of professionalism made what should have been a pleasant shopping experience...
