The one and only H. E. Butt managed to establish the foundation for generations of growth to meet the discriminating preferences of diverse customer segments. Each store is tuned to the expectations of the local customers and not some peanut butter spread management philosophy. This store is no exception. It may not emulate its elder sibling, Central Market for the Epicurean, but the primary departments, Produce, Seafood, Bakery + more, offer ranges that are vast. Big D (or Collin County) will soon feel the difference. Of course, the on-premises boil stand (for Cajun delights) is contagious when in season. Update: The "reply?" from HEB is clearly AI generated because it zeroed into a word and not the semantics around its usage in this review. Those of you that have kids in school (studying language) use this as an example of the latent challenges with chatbots. HEB needs to improve the training of their chatbots.

First time ever seeing one of these store's. I decided to check it out and I am glad I did. It has an enormous amount of fresh fruit and vegetables. Many different organic items. I use that term loosely because it means different things to different people. This is a true grocery store! It is a shame I don't have one of these back home. I spent about 100$ on things I can't normally get. They have huge deli and bakery section. I recommend you visit them. They are slightly higher than Walmart but the quality is better. They have some of the most beautiful slabs of meat I've seen in a really long time. Kudos to there meat and butcher section. The wine and spirits section is massive.

This was the HEB i used to go to nearly every other day for months. I recently stopped going after an incident of getting accused of theft and then followed by that man around the entire store, and today i came back for the first time in a while and the same man just so happen to see me again. During the first incident a couple months ago, I grabbed a couple things holding it in my hand and had my phone and credit card also in my hands. so i put my credit card in my back pocket so i don't accidentally drop it. nearly 2-3 seconds after i put it in my pocket, this old white man with white/grey hair starts yelling at me and accusing of theft and screaming at me to take what i put in my pocket out, so i did, and i held up my credit card and said "my credit card?". and instead of apologizing for yelling at me, accusing me, and embarrassing me, he continues to say "you can't just walk out of the store without paying you have to go through the checkout" and several more remarks similar to that as if i am not holding the very credit card i am going to pay with. also, i am in the cleaning supply isle looking for something and not near the entrance. He then proceeds to follow me around the entire store, and one point i stopped walking and he continued to stare me down so i call my boyfriend and my father as i began to feel very uncomfortable and targeted. i could not even finish shopping, so i checked out, and even during checking out he stood near me staring me down. I have a friend who works there so i told him the situation and he said he told his boss but i doubt they did anything about it. Today, i come back after a long time and as i am driving in the lot to park my car i see him walking outside. it's about 10pm so i just minded my business to get some groceries. i come back outside after checking out, get in my car, and seconds later he comes out and i realized he moved and parked his car directly next to mine when every parking spot in the row i parked in and in front of me were available. as he is walking to his car, he stares me down as im sitting in mine. Not sure if he was assuming i am "stealing" again or not but it's horrible customer service and unprofessional. Needless to say, i probably won't be coming back here anytime soon again and that old man should not be working there. I do not understand what that guy has against me to be constantly staring me down with hatred in his...

If you live in Texas you have to know about H‑E‑B! There’s not one that I’ve been to that has not been a 5 star event!! But the one on HWY 6 is super duper special! The employees there are so nice and always try to go out of their way to help you with anything and everything! Can’t find something ask an employee who will quickly direct you to your item. Need a PIECE of meat you don’t see out, say less an employee will go to the back and cut whatever you need. Have questions about the sea food, the employees behind the counter are happy to answer any questions and help you make a decision on what to eat! Can’t find a line to check out that’s quick …. No worries they have an employee who stands there and monitors the lines who will guide you to the shortest one. Change your mind on an item you picked up no worries your cashier will Gladly take it back and not make you feel bad for not getting it! Want to go where everyone knows your name H‑E‑B is the place!! Forgot to pick up an item on your list, they will send Someone to grab it for you!!When I haven’t been because we’ve been out of town, they notice and say we’ve missed seeing you! ❤️ They finally after the pandemic have brought back the cooking station which is one of my favorite stops on my grocery journey, sometimes you just want something different for dinner and they chefs at that counter have some delicious recipes and yummy samples!! This day in time it’s hard to find the level kindness and work ethic the employees at H‑E‑B have. You can tell they hire people who have the skill to want to be of help to others and it shows! H‑E‑B is always my first choice of places to grocery shop! The choices of stocked food is always plentiful and the store is always clean which I sooooo appreciate. You can always find someone in produce restocking and making sure what is out is fresh!! It also helps that they make delicious tortillas in store hot and ready to eat!!! If you haven’t tried the corn and flour mixed tortillas they are a must for your next grocery trip! Also next time u are at the lunch meat counter have them slice you up some Cajun Turkey meat and Spicy Gouda cheese cut on number 1… you will thank me later!!! They even have an app that offers you digital coupons to help make groceries a little more affordable. My only desire is that they would offer more coupons!! But H‑E‑B gets 5 ⭐️ from me!!! It’s true ….HERE...

They are okay. I shop this location because it is on my way home and have been going here for 10 plus years or however long this location has been open. Produce is shakey from to time with fruit that really shouldn't be put out because of quality. I seen some grapes recently that were in terrible shape. Bakery is great, Deli is solid Meat department is solid. Rest of the store is okay. They have a problem with restocking, the store is clean and well maintained. My biggest issue with that store is the employees that are picking items for store pick up are always in the way and clogging up the aisle. Doesn't seem like a concern for management because it been going on since they began this service. I don't use this service because I am better at picking fruit and other items that need close attention than anybody they have on staff. Management in general seems okay and they do a pretty good job with managing high volume times, could have a few more registers open, but understand the labor issues they have. I do like the 25 items or less line they have and team members that work this register do a great job of running the line. I think the service level of the cashiers is really good. HEB's the best of the true Grocery Stores. I don't trust Walmart or Target, food is not what they do well and Kroger Prices are High, High, High not Low, Low, Low like they claim. The only reason I go to Kroger or Target is because HEB quit carrying the Dog Food our Dogs prefer. I also appreciate HEB dedication to Texas and what they accomplished in...
