This place gives very “pawn shop” vibes. I found them on Google and looked at their website which makes it abundantly clear that they will accept any technology, no matter how old. I figured they would recycle stuff they can’t use and refurbish and resell the stuff they can. This is incorrect. I took several items including a handheld ham radio, handheld CB radio, 4 brand new walkie talkie style radios, and a Bluetooth scale. Everything was rejected with the exception of the CB radio which I got $10 for. The scale was rejected because there wasn’t enough resale value, same with the handheld ham radio, the walkie talkies were rejected for lack of brand name or serial number (which is fair because that would prevent them from buying stolen items). I wasn’t expecting to walk out with a ton of money but I definitely expected more that $10. I’d recommend calling first to make sure they’ll accept it because they definitely don’t accept just anything simply because it’s in working condition and free of cosmetic and internal damage. I visited the store with two wii consoles with brand new remotes, one sensor, and all the cords. They only wanted to give me $5 for each of them. The representative tried to convince me that Gamestop would not take them because the doors were missing and they wanted complete sets. Well I went to Gamestop and sold each wii for $38.50. Yes, I had to buy one sensor but it wasn't that bad, just $8.00. Plus, Gamestop had the doors available at the store for free of charge. They even took my PS3 which was defective for $38.50. I know that they will respond with we only go by marketplace value and blah, blah, blah. The representative comfirmed my Gamestop estimates before reoffering me the $15 for everything.
