Had a wonderful time on the TVRR's "Summerville Steam." The weather started out as overcast, but by the time we got to Summerville, it was beautiful. At the Summerville depot there was a quilt event going on and my wife, who loves to sew, loved that part. We opted for the 12noon lunch and it was very good, BBQ brisket platter and a brownie and ice cream for dessert. It was a leisurely trip over all and recommend it to anyone wanting to take a day trip on the rails.

It's nice and all, but don't expect to get your money back for a while. They said Friday, it's Friday, and they don't have it. Be aware that you'll be out your deposit...
