Burger Shack — Restaurant in Summerville

Called in an order because it was too hot to be sitting in line, after taking 3 tries to answer, mind you, if you know this place, you know how small it is. 2 lines are usually open, but this time only 1. The girl had an attitude on the phone from the jump. We asked if the apples were fried, she said no they’re home made, mind you, the sign says they are fried, but for some reason she wanted to gossip about it to the guy in the back (very unprofessional). And when we got to the window she had that prissy smirk, which we eventually looked over, she didn’t pay back my Mama’s change, we had to ask for the rest of our food, and she didn’t put ANY sauce in my plate, which if you know this place, the plates ALWAYS have your sauce. We called and what do you know the girl acts like she owns the place, purposely being a smart elec, screaming at the top of her lungs, threatening to contact the owner herself. I tried contacting the owner, didn’t respond, so I assume she’s taking her side. Oh and food was cold, the place isn’t even 2 minutes from where we live, so it wouldn’t have lost heat. To be a hole in the wall eatery the food is both delicious & fresh. The atmosphere was spot on 1 of the friendliest bunch of people i have ever met. And to say the menu us huge would be gross understatement this place has burgers fries tots onion rings and incredibly good slaw dogs. Looking forward to trying the baked potato next time. Oh and they also have breakfast with an equally interesting menu. Cannot review breakfast as of yet but if the food half as good as lunch then this would seem to be an all day treat for anyone lucky enough to live nearby. This was the best burger I’ve ever eaten in my life. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with no tomato’s and it was like God himself kissed this meal and sent an angel to deliver it to me. It was phenomenal. I’m not one to write reviews, but this burger was the greatest blessing I could’ve received that day. The beef was delicious and juicy, yet not too much grease. The cheese was warm and melted gorgeously within the burger. The bacon was crispy and flavorful, it was nothing short of perfect. Even the lettuce and pickles were perfect and I’m usually picky with those. This place is a blessing, any wise person...
