Mike’s Maze is a great place to spend a day. Each year, the maze features a different design, with themed trivia and activities. In addition to the maze itself, there is an elevated viewing platform, a small petting zoo, a playground, pedal carts, and other activities. Visitors can buy burgers, kettle corn, and other snacks at the Corn Cafe. The minimum time I would recommend spending at the maze is two hours, but it’s easy to spend the better part of a day, especially if you are bringing children. This is a great activity for kids (including groups of kids), but it is also a lot of fun for adults.
Accessibility: This attraction is all ground level (except for the viewing platform, which has stairs). The ground is pretty flat, but it is somewhat uneven in places. There are port-a-potties, but also two single-stall bathrooms near the cafe. The map and all of the trivia and activity stops in the maze are best enjoyed if you (or someone in your party) can see to read and a couple depend on being able to hear things on small speakers. (I have a severe hearing loss and did not find that missing those activities detracted from my enjoyment...
Read moreThis is our 3rd year returning to Mikes Maze. Our son is 4 and this was our best trip yet! There's a lot of things to keep you and your kids busy! We love the huge slides and the potato launchers! We enjoyed some hot cider and delicious cider donuts! There are burgers and other hot food available. Great fun for the whole family! Just an FYI for those who have never been, this Maze is not a typical start then find your way out. The maze is set up so there's areas inside you find with trivia questions that you answer on the paper they hand you before you enter. I know that some people love it and spend the time answering all the questions but for us, its usually topics we don't know much about and we have a little one so between us just not getting it and our son running off we don't actually play the game that the maze is based off of. Instead we just kinda wander around until our son wants to do something else. Still entertaining! Since there are so many fun activities there even if you run into the same situation we do with the actual maze, you will still have a...
Read moreSuch an awesome experience, staffed by some of the nicest people. The attention to detail and fun facts/activities at each of the maze stops is so cool. Of course we tried the cider donuts and apple cider slushies (it was really hot when we came!), which were delicious and very reasonably priced. We loved the old timey games too, like the basketball shoot, forced perspective photo op, and camera obscura. The potato cannon is extra but you’ve gotta try it to say you did it. The cherry on top, you get a complimentary mini pumpkin to take home with you!
I (31) had such a blast here with my partner (30) and parents (61 and 65) so it really is fun for the whole family. We came on a Friday afternoon in September, which I definitely recommend doing if you can- we had the place almost to ourselves, but on weekends later in the season it can be...
