Martin Luther King Park — Attraction in Sunrise Manor

The park is nice ,but the behavior of the "children" at the park was disgusting. There were bigger kids in charge of smaller kids,arguing ,cussing like grown men ,running in between the swings while children were swinging. Needless to say it was more than 'Ratchet'. I would probably go back with my toddler and my mom during school hours to avoid the poorly behaved young people I witnessed. I'm not old fashioned by anyone's standards but I was offended . My child is impressionable and repeats everything. I dont need him to be around other children that aren't home trained and unaccompanied by adults or parents. I cut my visit short at this park and drove over to Shadow Park with No swings ,but hey it was peaceful and...

Pretty decent park, it has a volleyball place Basketball court & skating area as well as several benches around the park that you could sit at & grill. It does have a trail that takes you around the entire park ( walking a dog, maybe just going on a jog, or pushing your toddler around, etc ) Very greenish, decent grass area. ice cream truck parks on the side of the playground Just in case your kids wants some snacks.

I just wish they would update the playground area as there is graffiti & it seems old. Never less it’s a good park.

There are skate board ramps, basketball hoops, several picnic areas, and a good walking path around the park. Small playground. Lots of grass area. It is not usually packed but there are usually people there. My dogs like walking around the park. There are often dogs chasing balls and such in the large center grass area. It is a good sized park for this part of town which has few large parks. It is very close to Bob Price which has a much larger play area for the kids, a rubber walking path, pickle ball courts, and the park itself is...
