⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited the SHARC (Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center) on Monday, and it was such a fun experience from start to finish! The kids absolutely loved the water slides—the tube slide had a bit of a longer wait compared to the regular slide, but both were worth it and kept everyone smiling. The pools were clean, well-maintained, and there was plenty of space for families to relax. The food options were better than expected for an aquatic center—tasty and quick to grab between swims. The adult beverages were also a nice treat. Yes, prices are on the spendier side, but it’s understandable given the location and setup, and we felt it was worth it for the overall experience. What really stood out was how clean the entire facility was and how friendly the staff were. Everyone we interacted with seemed welcoming, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure guests had a great time. Overall, SHARC is a fantastic spot for families, couples, or even just a fun day out with friends. Between the slides, pools, food, drinks, and atmosphere, it’s well worth a visit if you’re in Sunriver. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in town!

Open swim: Weekdays: 2p-530p Weekends: 1030a-530p What a fun indoor pool for guests/homeowners at Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic Recreational Center! Here on a family vacation for the holidays, there is no snow this year, so having this indoor pool to pass the time was great. We were the first in for the weekday rec swim time (2p-530p) and found into be clean and warm. The dreaded indoor chlorine smell wasn't bad either. As a bystander, there were ample loungers and benches around the pool to find a spot. The volley net and basketball hoop were up. A fun swirling whirlpool section was popular. The lap pool remained open for open swim, or to distance from the busy play and heavy splash areas once it got busier. The outdoor hot tub was running and steaming for those who wanted to be outside. A small slide for 48" and shorter was also a hot spot. Life jackets were available for free use, and lifeguards were actively patrolling the pools. Rec center also has meeting rooms, living room, café (closed off-season), and full locker rooms. Not to shabby!

Terrible Experiences at SHARC – Rude Staff, Unhelpful HOA As a 30-year Sunriver homeowner and resident, I can say that SHARC and the Sunriver Owners Association have gone downhill fast. Every single visit over the past five years has been negative. Today was no different — staff were rude, unhelpful, and treated homeowners like we don’t matter. Bridget at the Owners Association was exceptionally rude and dismissive. Sadly, this seems to be the new culture here: arrogance, poor treatment of paying homeowners, and zero accountability. It’s unacceptable. We pay tens of thousands of dollars in dues and Recreation Plus fees, yet we’re treated like second-class citizens at a facility that exists because of the homeowners. SHARC and the SROA leadership have forgotten who actually funds them. If you’re considering visiting — avoid it. If you’re an owner — demand change. This place has become a constant disappointment and does not reflect what Sunriver homeowners pay for.

As residents, we’ll definitely keep SHARC in mind for any future events, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding service and a flawless event experience!

We had the pleasure of hosting our day-after wedding brunch at the SHARC, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. We had a little hiccup with their former event manager providing false information and apparently not putting our soft hold on for our weekend but once Beth took over, their team made everything seamless and stress-free, and we are so grateful for all their help.

Beth, the events manager, was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. She provided us with all the necessary information, ensured the contract and order were accurate, and worked with us to create the perfect room layout. Her proactive approach made the entire coordination process a breeze.

And what really made our event unforgettably smooth was our day-of event coordinator, Ashley. She went above and beyond in every way possible. Not only did she assist with connecting our event PowerPoint and sound system, but she also noticed a technical issue with the sound (before we even did!) and quickly offered us a hot spot to resolve the issue. Ashley was there for every little detail—helping with setup, offering her assistance whenever needed, and even pitching in to wash our champagne glasses during clean-up. We were especially grateful for her support after having a less-than-ideal experience with our caterer, Bleu Bite. Ashley’s willingness to step in and handle everything far exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have been...

Very frustrating experience. Went to go tubing, and days listed on website weren’t accurate. They have a reduced schedule, only 3 days, limited hours. So, we came back on the correct day. We were a group of 10 , 3 families, kids of all ages. My wife went in to get 10 passes, but they would not let us have tubes or passes unless all people were present in the people. So, we told everyone to just come in the building, however, they wouldn’t let us in without everyone having a mask. (understandable, but frustrating to try and get entire group in there with masks, as you don’t anticipate needing a mask to go tubing) When we finally figure that out, they wouldn’t give usthe passes; they require staff to manually put the passes on each person (like a lift ticket) yet, not everyone had there snow gear on. Once we figured that all out, got our snow gear, with our masks, returned, they put on the tickets, and then told us my 3 1/2 yr old couldn’t tube ( not posted any were, cutoff is 4 ). To try and figure all that out, and manage several young kids was frustrating. They apologized and said they are understaffed, yet they had about 10 people in blue shirts just standing behind the counter watching, while one person did all the work. In the future, I think it would have been better to have just rented a few sleds and go to a snow park. Way too many frustrating rules, policies,...

We made it out to the park on a Saturday around 10:30am. The line was very long, and the park was at capacity around an hour after they opened. So if you want to come early, be there before doors open at 10am, especially if you want shade, they don't have much shade options available. Or wait till after 2pm when a lot of people leave already.

They have a no competition policy with their cafe so no snacks or Frappuccino allowed inside.

On another note, I was very impressed with their food, my fish and chips was much better than most of the places I get it from.

The park is clean, bathrooms are well taken care of. But it's a pretty small park. If you haven't been to a water park before it might feel big. Their lazy river is quite small, but they do have a decent sized pool for the kiddos, it goes from zero inches all the way to about 4.5 feet deep at some points, and it has a fun obstacle course thing for kids to do.

They have 2 slides, one tube one (gotta be 48 inches to go there) and one regular slide (gotta be 45 inches I believe to go there).

They also have a hot tub for adults (16+ years) that wasn't much warmer than all the other pools (which was nice considering it was about 90 degrees outside).

Also they got a super shallow little pool for small kiddos that is fenced off from everyone else.

One final word: don't be like me, put sun screen...
