A Plus Computer Services — Attraction in Superior

Have always found them to be polite, supportive, and knowledgeable when coming in with questions while trying to extend the capabilities of my laptops. The shop is conveniently located in the city with easy street parking overall and next to some exceptional restaurants in Superior. The prices are fully in line with the field.

That being said, they taught me the importance of keeping my equipment in good condition from the start. I went in to have a smaller SSD upgraded to a 500GB SSD in an effort to future-proof my laptop. While the drive was successfully cloned, the wire connecting the speaker was severed and we agreed that although there were no guarantees, it might be possible to splice the wire together. Unfortunately this resulted in an incident in which the entire computer was rendered completely inoperable, making this an extremely costly upgrade for me. I fortunately happened to have a spare laptop with the exact same model as a backup, and switched the SSD over to that one in an attempt to at least salvage some good out of all of this. Overall, the SSD "works" except that it will randomly crash into the blue screen of death every half-hour. Taking it back into A Plus, they were polite and charged me $26 to run another diagnostic on it and told me they couldn't find any problems with the hardware. Having rewritten this review 10 times now between crashes, it has ultimately became more affordable to buy a parted-out replacement model from E-bay than to risk getting charged $$ just to get the SSD working.

I have every reason to believe that A Plus knows what they are doing, and that for many customers in need of support, they will be able to meet your needs. I don't happen to be one who was able to benefit from their expertise, but I will still suggest that they might be an option for you to consider depending...

Loved everything about our experience here! We went in to get a custom pc build for my son for Christmas. Curt was super helpful at explaining all our options and checking which games would be played to be sure the computer had enough oomph to play them. He got us all set up with the most amazing desktop I've ever bought and we ended up deciding to give it to our son early because it only took Curt 6 days to get everything in and built, seemed a shame to hide it away for 25 days lol. The boy has been happily gaming with all his friends on an amazing pc and is absolutely thrilled at the ZERO lag, and we grownups that all pitched in to buy it for him (parents and all grandparents) are thrilled he is so ecstatic about his christmas gift!

We will 100% be back again and again for upgrades and just maybe a new desktop for Mom and Dad 😁

A fantastic place to get help with computer troubles, repairs and buying refurbished computers! Everything is clearly explained and made simple for the non computer savvy to understand. The staff doesn't make you feel like they are trying to sell you on anything you don't need or mislead you but instead, they just want to help you have a computer that works and lasts longterm. Plus, the reasonable pricing doesn't break your wallet! I would highly reccommend A Plus whether your computer needs a tune up or you're looking for a new one that will last!
