We chose this place bacause we were staying nearby. I did not have high expectations because from the outside it is underwhelming. But this place proves you can't judge a book by its cover. We were seated immediately and our server was fantastic. We started with walleye fingers which were thick and coated to perfection. Another appetizer of onion rings were hand breaded and crispy. The salad was decent as was the lobster bisque. For entrees I had sirloin steak and lobster. The steak was under seasoned but my son said this is wisconsin people dont like a lot of seasoning and you season to taste after. It was cooked to a perfect med rare. The lobster was some of the best i have eaten. Similarly for the steak and scallops. Decent steak but phenomenal scallops. 2 in our party had filet mignon. The filets were seasoned and cooked to perfection.lobsyer mac and cheese was decent and broccoli side was great. 2 had hash browns which were fantastic. Served as a huge square and expertly crisped on the top and bottom. For dessert we shared bread pudding and banana cream cheesecake with hot fudge. Both were raved about. I definitely recommend this place.

Oh how do I love the Hammond, let me count the ways… friendly Bartenders always to take care of us with a kind word and delicious drink. I tasted a sample of a red velvet martini on my last visit, so cool and delicious. I’ve been eating there over 25 years and it never disappoints. Fresh hot rolls hit the table to tag along with the most sublime Lobster Bisque. I always get the scallops. A great value and served old school style with drawn butter for dipping. How many places do you eat at theses days that has its own signature China? This Supper club has been around for decades.and has always held up its standards despite the economy, pandemic and all the other distractions that can bri g down an establishment. There is a liquor store downstairs where you can buy a bottle of wine and pay a 10$ corkage at the table which is a deal in my book! Such a place that has such rich culinary history.

The lost in the 70's decor is the perfect backdrop for this decades old, family owned iconic neighborhood restaurant. They food is as traditional "Steak House " as you can get. All the classic surf and turf items you'd expect. We were there recently with a rather large party and only one was disappointed with the steak. It was ordered medium well. It was decidedly well done. I can say that the Scallops were incredible. Dessert list is impressive, but the desserts are not made on site or baked local to my knowledge . Rather they seem to be from a supplier. Still, everyone who ordered something said they liked them. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The staircase up to the restaurant will prove problematic to those with cardiac and mobility issues.

Terrible experience recently. The prime rib was over done and served to us cold.We ordered the prime medium and it came very well done! The scallops were overcooked and dried out. The waitress said she was busy when we told her and actually said "It is not my problem "..Yes it is!! She forgot our rolls..no bread basket any longer. We asked for the roll. The waitress brought us over a bowl of heated broth to warm up the prime rib and it tasted scorched! We will not return. We have had too many bad experiences there. Also, why is the old dirty carpet taped together? A tripping hazard. The restaurant really needs a deep clean and that red/ black filthy carpet has to be replaced. The women's bathroom also has carpet!

Main course was good, though I prefer my onions caramelized. Alfredo was attractive wirh previously frozen broccoli florettws and crinkle cut carrots served al dente along with the linguine. The cream sauce was bland with fresh grated parmesan cheese on top. 2 pieces of liver looks grilled but without a grilled taste. Meals came with rolls, crackers, salads and baked potatoes. Great value. A number of patrons were pleased regulars. Service perfect. Nice touch having one of the owners touching base with all patrons and making sure all food and service in top form. Understandable why it's local favorite.
