This is the last time i eat here , everyone at the table returned the food and left.

This place was once good . I brought some friends out to eat It was mildly busy inside but we got seated right away.

Walking up the stairs there was a musty smell like (old closet) and the carpet throughout Was soiled and tattered.

We received our menus but it took 25 minutes before we were able to order our drinks.

One of the drinks tasted like mustard or maybe the glass wasnt cleaned all the way😬

15 minutes later we got all of the drinks and the server said they were short staffed after she came back so we waited patiently. It was a total of 90 minutes from 5to 630 to get the food. (Which was still fine) we were patient people.

We basically ordered king cut prime rib, coconut shrimp and pasta.

The bread and salads that came out first were great. I should have known when they asked me how i like my prime rib done. So they dont roast it. The waitress said they cut slabs of meat off and throw it on a grill, gross. Anyway our prime rib came out blue, we tried to eat it but the taste was terrible and musty. like it was sitting out all day. The pasta tasted about the same it wasnt great . And the coconut shrimp were burnt and hard. Basically the whole entre wasn’t edible.

People began leaving from my table and running for the door and i quickly paid for what we ate and drank and left my self.

We were all famished so we decided to get fast food instead and it was better than Hammond...

I never review places but I must for how bad the service was and how bad my food was. I would not recommend anyone to go there unless you like your prime rib with 1/4 meat and 3/4 fat blood dripping from it. If you like your hash browns room temperature and soggy. Then just trying to get the check was like pulling teeth, our server never came back to our table. So we ask another server for the check, (mind you we asked about 7 mins after we were done eating).. and we still had to track down our server and wait another 25 minutes for our check.

Also, about the customer service... I brought my 1 1/2 year old, and they put us at the most awkward table. They do not accommodate for small children, yes they had a high chair- but they don't have a kids menu, just a "light meal" and when we asked for chocolate milk for him, our server said they don't have it pre made but shell make some, which was the only nice thing she did - they bring it over in like a fancy water glass that looked like a wine glass, what 1.5 year old can drink from a wine glass....

It literally was the worst experience going to a restaurant that I've ever had, my wife and I have never felt...

We chose this place bacause we were staying nearby. I did not have high expectations because from the outside it is underwhelming. But this place proves you can't judge a book by its cover. We were seated immediately and our server was fantastic. We started with walleye fingers which were thick and coated to perfection. Another appetizer of onion rings were hand breaded and crispy. The salad was decent as was the lobster bisque. For entrees I had sirloin steak and lobster. The steak was under seasoned but my son said this is wisconsin people dont like a lot of seasoning and you season to taste after. It was cooked to a perfect med rare. The lobster was some of the best i have eaten. Similarly for the steak and scallops. Decent steak but phenomenal scallops. 2 in our party had filet mignon. The filets were seasoned and cooked to perfection.lobsyer mac and cheese was decent and broccoli side was great. 2 had hash browns which were fantastic. Served as a huge square and expertly crisped on the top and bottom. For dessert we shared bread pudding and banana cream cheesecake with hot fudge. Both were raved about. I definitely...

Oh how do I love the Hammond, let me count the ways… friendly Bartenders always to take care of us with a kind word and delicious drink. I tasted a sample of a red velvet martini on my last visit, so cool and delicious. I’ve been eating there over 25 years and it never disappoints. Fresh hot rolls hit the table to tag along with the most sublime Lobster Bisque. I always get the scallops. A great value and served old school style with drawn butter for dipping. How many places do you eat at theses days that has its own signature China? This Supper club has been around for decades.and has always held up its standards despite the economy, pandemic and all the other distractions that can bri g down an establishment. There is a liquor store downstairs where you can buy a bottle of wine and pay a 10$ corkage at the table which is a deal in my book! Such a place that has such rich culinary history.

The lost in the 70's decor is the perfect backdrop for this decades old, family owned iconic neighborhood restaurant. They food is as traditional "Steak House " as you can get. All the classic surf and turf items you'd expect. We were there recently with a rather large party and only one was disappointed with the steak. It was ordered medium well. It was decidedly well done. I can say that the Scallops were incredible. Dessert list is impressive, but the desserts are not made on site or baked local to my knowledge . Rather they seem to be from a supplier. Still, everyone who ordered something said they liked them. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The staircase up to the restaurant will prove problematic to those with cardiac and mobility issues.
