WARNING.... Buyer BEWARE!!!
I love the merchandise in this store so that's not the problem at all. Seems to be good quality products. The problem is I believe I uncovered a little scam this store has going on. WARNING, LOOK AT THE FINAL PRICE OF ITEMS AS THEY RING IT UP BEFORE YOU PAY!!! ask them what the price is as they are scanning EACH item!! Ask to see each item price BEFORE YOU PAY!!!
Here's the scam, they put a sale or reduced price on items in the store. When those items are scanned at the register you cannot see the price they are scanning because they have the card monitor shut off so it doesn't display a price as they ring up. You think you're getting the items at the price on the tag, you are not! then you pay for said items. ALSO, if the items are tagged as 2 for $??.??, they will not ring them up as 2 for $??.?? but instead just ring them up as separate items..... here's where the scam works. Now you have paid more than advertised on the items. once you make payment you're stuck with it because their store policy is "NO REFUNDS"! Even if you do not want to return the items but just want the difference you OVER paid, they will only offer you "in-store credit" for the amount over paid!! THAT'S THE SCAM!!
I have attached my item tags and the receipt so you can see the sale price was $16.99, the item rang-up at $18.99. The sale was also two for $29.99 but they did not sell them to me as two for $29.99 but sold them as separate items.
I walk away from the register because there are people in line behind me and that's when I notice, they didn't sell me the items at the sale/reduced price. Now I have not left the store, I literally only walked 10 foot from the register. I turn around and ask why I didn't get the sale prices on my purchase. The lady at the register simply says, oh I'm sorry we can give you in-store credit if you like because the policy is NO-REFUNDS!!! I about lost my mind!! So obviously the others in line take notice and i'm positive they were rang up correctly after witnessing my findings. I wouldn't be so sure that after those that were there during my exposition of the stores tricks left, others from that time on and beyond are getting tricked into buying what they thought was on sale not even noticing they actually paid more than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI personally will not step foot into this store again after overhearing, what I assume to be the store owner, and the cashier talking so poorly about a woman who had just tried to purchase something from them but had a card issue. I began to have seconds thoughts about buying anything but my little brother had found something he absolutely loved. After having put back everything that was going to be purchased and then checking out the one item he had wanted, I made a comment to the cashier about how they shouldn't speak poorly of there customers, at least infront of other potential customers. She tried to defend herself but after I told her that none of it mattered, that we've all had issues with our cards at some point while knowing there absolutely was money in our accounts she became rude with me, further implying that that they don't care about their customers. My advice is to go to another of the plethora of stores in the area and spend your hard earned money....
Ā Ā Ā Read more0/5 donāt go to this place. I picked out some bikini bottoms that were marked down from $19.99 to $14.99. When I went to check out, the middle aged woman (who looks like she probably has a couple of family members who stormed the Capitol on Jan 6) this morning 5/27/24 around 11am, tells me that thatās not the correct price and that āsome peopleā just put the stickers on there to get a discount. (I explained thatās how I found the item hung up, and she said āwell I donāt know what to tell yaā). I donāt know if she accuses every brown person of stealing, but who knows these daysā¦ā¦.. Happy Memorial...
