Surf City Parks & Recreation — Attraction in Surf City

Impolite, rude staff. Myself and a friend were accosted by the front desk attendant by being in the spinning room. We explained we were only looking at equipment and using resistance bands when she said it "Was not okay that we were in that room and had to leave immediately." Outdated and unsafe equipment with exercise balls piled precariously on top of weight machines (which were out of order with only a small sign posted). Dues have increased with no updates or general maintenance...

We rented the handicap wheelchairs yesterday for my mom and sister so they could go to the beach. Neither of them had been able to go for several years due to health. I have never seen two women so happy just to be rolled to the water. This was truly a blessing. Great facility and team of employees here! Gym with basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and summer camp area. Yoga room, Weight room, cardio room, meeting rooms, locker rooms with showers. There is a childrens playground next to the 2 dog parks and a walking trail. There are multiple soccer fields and baseball fields that are used by people of all ages. This is the place for Easter...
