Dollar General — Attraction in Surf City

The manager, after me being in the store for about 45 minutes and shopping, kicked me out of the store saying that I was trespassing when I have never been to this Dollar general before in my life! I don't even live over that way and never have I just recently moved to Jacksonville and I just happened to be over by this Dollar general on that day and I needed a few things and I was about to pay and then I was like oh let me look at some Easter stuff so I went up to the cashier and I said excuse me sir where is Easter stuff and the manager behind him was like I can't hear you and I got closer and I was like excuse me where's your Easter stuff and he said I still can't hear you and maybe get like really close to his face and I was like where is your Easter soft and I said it like louder cuz I thought maybe he couldn't hear cuz he was older or couldn't see cuz he had like big glasses on and I wear glasses so like I get the light not being able to see well and this and that but he then was like get the hell out of my store you are a trespassing and I was like No I'm not I've never been here before I don't know who you think I am but you're wrong It was the most embarrassing situation! I was in there with my 5-year-old son and he was like Mommy why can't we buy the stuff we were going to buy why did that man tell you to get out of the store why was he yelling at you and all I had to tell my son because I didn't know was I don't know I think he thought I was someone else and I kept trying to tell him I think you think of someone else and he said I'm going to call the cops and I said then call them please because you think of someone that I'm not well he never called the police but I did leave because I was not going to pay money at Dollar general for anything even if it was $0.10 because other way this man acted so I will never visit a Dollar general again a day of my life and that's sad because I love the Dollar general near where I live and I used to go there all the time well I would go there all the time but now I'm never going into a Dollar general again because of this situation! I was beyond embarrassed in front of my son, a bunch of employees, and then like 30 shoppers okay maybe I'm exaggerating it was probably like 12 shoppers but still it felt like 50 we're staring at me and I felt so awkward so embarrassed over something that I shouldn't have felt this way about because he definitely had me mistaken so don't go to the Dollar general ever I mean it was dirty anyway the floors were disgusting but they have good sales and I always go to the one near me which is actually pretty clean and now I will never shop at Dollar...

I wish I could post zero stars for this review. I was in the store about two hours ago to drop off a FedEx envelope and grab a couple of items. I only saw one employee who was sitting in the small office behind the counter consuming what I can only assume is her lunch. I set my envelope on the counter and as two employees emerged from the office said, "I just have this FedEx drop off. It's ready to go." I was in a hurry as I was racing a storm back to the island, but I had not moved from the counter. She immediately put her hands on her hips and scolded me as if I were an unruly child and she a grammar school marm. She began lecturing me on store FedEx policy that I cannot just drop the envelope and leave, meanwhile the other employee was busily stuffing her sandwich into her mouth. Again, I had not moved from my spot at the counter. I asked if she expected me to wait until the other employee finished eating. She continued to lecture me without bothering to check-in my envelope. I was going to grab a cold drink and some batteries while I waited for them to check in the envelope, but her attitude was such that I immediately changed my mind. Please instruct cashiers to finish the transaction in front of them, instead of stopping mid stream to help a "rude person with a question, then proceeding to direct the person to what they want, MY TIME is important too...that rude person should have been instructed to wait. The cashier stopped went to the office to ask the lady's question, then stood there to listen, while I waited to pay!!! This isn't "good customer service".
