Our day at the sandbar was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the pristine beauty of the crystal-clear waters and the soft, powdery sand beneath our feet. The atmosphere was serene and refreshing, making it the perfect escape from our daily routine. The sandbar itself was spacious and clean, providing ample room for everyone to relax and enjoy their own slice of paradise. We brought a picnic and found a perfect spot to set up our blanket and enjoy a leisurely lunch with stunning views all around us. The highlight of our visit was the breathtaking sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the water, was truly a sight to behold. It was a peaceful and awe-inspiring moment that perfectly capped off our day.

This is a world class sandbar sitting in the beautiful waters of Miami. It's usually swarmed with boaters on the weekend, which is expected considering the spectacular nature of the sandbar. The water is very clear as the daily tides bring clean ocean water into the bay. The depth of the sandbar ranges from about 6 feet at the deepest up to completely dry land. There are large areas of water that are very shallow, about 6 inches to a foot deep. There are several food vendors in boats, most of which offer kayak delivery straight to your boat. Overall, an amazing place to spend a sunny day with friends, drinks, and music. Great for people watching too. This is a truly special place that makes Miami unique and I don't think there is another place like it outside of Florida.

We come here regularly and beach the catamaran at mid out going tide. It allows us to have about 6 hours of grounding. Great for having bbqs without bouncing around. We only come here during the week as weekends it is far too busy. If you like busy party life environments then the weekends are for you. They have food boats that will even deliver! The water is clear, at low tide in some spots there is even dry sand to walk on. Being South Florida the water is warm. Even in winter the water is not that cold, I'd rate it warmer than the south coast of Australia in summer. As can bee seen from the pictures, weekdays are quite deserted. Pictures taken during noreaster with 20mph winds.

Sand bar is really nice but DO NOT buy from AQUATIC FLAVORS! They charged me double the amount of my food total and there a $10 delivery fee that they don’t tell you about. I tried to get my money back but the manager was drinking and smoking weed and didn’t not care that I caught her scamming ppl. If you do purchase from them pay CASH only. Aquatic Flavors is a vendor at that the sandbar allows to do business there. People are going to want food and beverages while out on the water. Aquatic flavors doesn’t have a google location for me to leave a review on personally other wise they would get a 1star review I’m giving the sandbar 3 stars because unfortunately you allow these scammers to continue doing business there and people deserve...
