I try to get here with my dog just after sunrise. This section is about 1.5 miles and is incredibly peaceful. We've run into deer, turkeys, and even foxes along this section. On warmer days, my dog can investigate box and painted turtles attempting to cross the trail. This entire sections runs along Asylum Creek. Take care when crossing State Farm Drive since motorists are not always...

Love to bicycle the Capital Area Greenbelt. Starting at Fort Hunter and riding counter clockwise to City Island around Harrisburg, and the spur. I finish by circling Wildwood and back to Fort Hunter...
