The Rhododendron Garden in Seattle is a peaceful and beautifully maintained botanical spot, perfect for nature lovers and anyone seeking a quiet retreat. The garden showcases a stunning variety of rhododendrons and azaleas, with vibrant colors and lush greenery that change beautifully through the seasons. Walking through the winding paths surrounded by these flowering plants offers a refreshing and calming experience. It’s a great place for photography, meditation, or simply enjoying a peaceful stroll away from the city’s hustle. The garden is well cared for, with informative signs that help visitors learn about the different species. Whether you’re a gardening enthusiast or just looking for a scenic spot, the Rhododendron Garden is definitely worth a visit when in Seattle.

1000s of beautiful rhodies and azaleas and magnolias. Really unique "stumpery" and other mini gardens that would make this an all-seasons paradise. The blue poppy field (in bloom as of end-May 2025!) was gorgeous. Attached to an amazing and one-of-a-kind bonzai display. Kind and knowledgeable staff. A wide variety of flowering plants for sale to support the foundation. Accessible parking w/ security on-site. Well maintained paths with benches throughout. Will definitely go again! My main suggestion - add more benches deeper in the park and on the main loop as you get closer to the start/end. Especially on the parts with inclines to improve accessibility for people with mobility challenges.

Go around May to see the rhododendrons.. They're not year round blooms. Though it is a peaceful and beautiful walk through the trails even if they're not in bloom. No restroom inside these gardens. There's restrooms in the middle of the park before the 5 mile loop road.

Beautiful park that takes you out of an urban setting right into Jurassic Park with its gnarly trees, ferns and skyscraper-tall pines. Rhododendrons add a colorful touch to the green forest around them. As soon as you venture onto any of the pathways the city sounds fade away and nature envelopes you in its soothing soundscape and you feel a million miles and worlds away from the city that...
