Came to Tacoma from Seattle to check out Point defiance park and ended up at the zoo on a whim all because we need a restroom to use lol. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. I went to the park section. Which was nice. But the amount of parking for reasonable size gatherings is terrible. There's a few directly in front of the area. And then a separate section to the side. there should be dbl that. I had to park in the no parking zone as there was zero...

This truly a great garden exhibit. The rose garden has a tremendous selection of rose varieties. There multiple other plant species on exhibit. It is a beautiful place just to walk around...
