Pt Defiance Ferry Terminal — Local services in Tacoma

I have been sailing with WSF for years. Recently they really did me dirty. They ruined some holiday plans when I bought a ticket to visit relatives on the island. I got in line. I waited. They let me sit for 2 hours before a guy walked up to let us know they are delaying service until further notice, but that they'd honor my ticket purchase at Fauntleroy terminal in West Seattle. By the time I got to West Seattle, relatives had started going home. After random unscheduled shutdowns and downtime, I have decided that WSF is unreliable. Which sucks because unless you have your own boat (or heli), ferries are the only way onto Vashon. So any downtime is devastating to riders. Please get it together WSF. I miss Vashon and I missed my family for the holidays this year. We have to take a whole day of planning just to hope to visit Vashon because of WSF. Please respect our time and keep the...
