Good selection of halal products and some hard-to-find items. However, a cheery "Hello" to welcome all your customers - not only those you're familiar with - goes a long way. Remember, some of your customers may have very little experience with ethnic foods/products of the South Asian variety, and a welcoming smile or hello will put them at ease and encourage them to ask for help with certain items. Just an observation from a regular customer.

1/11/2022: Updating my review: This grocery store could use a lesson in customer service. Very little improvement in customer relations, although I've noticed certain customers get the benefit of a welcoming smile, but not others. I was at the meat section the other day, and the guy who attended to me - not the regular hispanic guy who is always cordial - decided to serve the customer after me before giving me my order. He had no justification for his actions because I was clearly waiting for the order I'd placed. I believe I've given this place more chances than it deserves - there are other asian grocery...

I have to admit....I was a bit timid about making my first trip because I felt like I would have no idea what to purchase. I knew that I liked Jasmine and Basmati rice as well as Samosas and I knew I would be able to find lamb and goat. But what all of the other products I've never even heard of?! Rest assured that if I can get up the courage, so can you!

This is a great International's grocery that has just what you need to add some great flavor to your food. The standard American diet is unhealthy and boring after a while. I love cooking non-American foods so this is one of my "go-to" spots for spices and such. There is a large selection of foods, spices, meats, and candy. There is a produce section that has fresh fruits and vegetables, but over all it is small compared to other sections of the store.

I am re-writing a new review for Apna bazar after multipls bad experiences with them. They do provide a wide array of items that are hard to find in other places but along with it, they also sell expired products and products that are not FDA approved! I have purchased many expired products from them and had to throw them in trash. Among it all, the worst experience I've had is on black henna! I got blisters on my hands after wearing it! I went to apna bazar to inform them about their product and told them not to sell it and instead of saying sorry, the elderly lady just blatantly said you should have tested it first before wearing it! I told her I wear henna a lot and none of them give me such reactions, she was just arrogant and pointed out it was the customer who was responsible for blisters and not the store! Also CHECK THE EXP DATE every time you buy any...
