My wife and I got married here on 9/18/21. Leading up to the wedding, the wrong contract was sent to us multiple times for wrong guest amounts and wrong cost amounts without any of the verbally promised discounts added. On the wedding day, we were looking for someone who could make things happen without needing either of us to manage. It became apparent from the ceremony that we weren’t going to get that. When I was going to walk down the aisle, I noticed a dog somewhere outside the venue who wouldn’t stop barking and nobody thought to seek out the owner and silence the dog for the ceremony. Fast forward to Megan walking down the aisle . Out of absolutely left field, the venue across the street started blaring the song ‘play that funky music’ for the remainder of the ceremony. It was awful and it completely ruined the feelings of the ceremony for Megan and I. After the ceremony, we went to take pictures and the coordinator had me holding onto her phone for whatever reason. We were told that we would have appetizers brought to us during cocktail hour so we weren’t starving but that never happened. We also put on the list that it was absolutely essential to take pictures in the vines (literally the whole reason why we wanted a vineyard wedding), which never happened because we were supposed to be escorted down in a golf cart which never showed up, so the photographer made due by having us walk down a steep hill (which was hard for Megan to get her footing in her shoes and dress and she was nearly falling over if it weren’t for me). There were a multitude of things that did not go smoothly during the reception, but the one thing at the end of the night that really rubbed me the wrong way was that the things Megan brought to the venue might have been packed up and at least ready to take to the car, but when the venue shut down, the nonexistent venue liaison (Chelsea) literally told Megan to clean out the bridal suite, which left her packing and carrying boxes to my car which I pulled up. I’m usually lenient with reviews and I let minor details slide, but the lack of initiative the was shown by your team and the venue staff made it apparent that all that mattered was that you guys had our money and showed up. It’s obvious that accepting defeat was the theme of the night and making things happen hardly occurred. And to top it off, it took us over a month to get back our security deposit because communication is absolutely horrid from the venue. During booking they sent us the wrong contract countless times. I hope this review can serve as a way for you to internally reflect on the customer service that your team lacked. Needless to say, we I do not recommend booking callaway as they don’t even seem to have a solid foundation when it comes to administrative...

Nestled in the rolling hills of Temecula's wine country, Callaway Winery is a charming and picturesque destination for wine enthusiasts and foodies alike. My recent dinner experience at Callaway Winery was truly unforgettable, as the combination of exquisite cuisine, impeccable service, and the breathtaking vineyard views made for a magical evening. My recent dining experience at Callaway Winery in Temecula was an absolute culinary delight. From the moment I walked into the winery, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the stage for an extraordinary evening of gastronomic pleasures.

The menu at Callaway Winery boasts a tantalizing array of farm-to-table dishes, expertly crafted by their culinary team. To start, I ordered the Shrimp Roll Salad and Oxtail for appetizers, and they did not disappoint. The Shrimp Roll Salad was a refreshing medley of plump shrimp, crisp lettuce, and tangy dressing, all wrapped in a delicate roll. The Oxtail, on the other hand, was a succulent treat with tender meat that melted in my mouth, paired with rich flavors and a hint of spices that left me craving for more. Both dishes were beautifully presented and showcased the culinary prowess of the chef.

For the main course, I opted for the Roasted Duck Breast and Catfish & Crawfish Etouffee. The Roasted Duck Breast was a masterpiece, with perfectly cooked duck breast that was juicy and flavorful, complemented by a luscious cherry sauce that added a sweet and tangy contrast. The dish was accompanied by a medley of seasonal vegetables that added a burst of freshness to the plate. The Catfish & Crawfish Etouffee was equally impressive, with the tender catfish and succulent crawfish cooked to perfection in a rich and flavorful sauce, served over a bed of creamy rice. The dish had just the right amount of spiciness and depth of flavors, leaving me with a satisfied palate.

To accompany my meal, I indulged in a bottle of Callaway Winery's house wine, which was a delightful choice. The sommelier's recommendation was spot-on, and the wine perfectly complemented the flavors of the dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The service at Callaway Winery was exemplary, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who took care of every detail. The waitstaff was prompt, friendly, and well-versed in the menu, providing helpful suggestions and accommodating any special requests.

What made my dining experience even more memorable was the picturesque vineyard views that surrounded the winery. The sun set over the rolling hills, casting a warm glow on the vineyards, creating a serene and enchanting ambiance. I can't wait to return and create more cherished memories at this enchanting...

My sister and her husband had a private, intimate wedding here in May 2025, and truthfully, the experience here was unprofessional. A wedding day should feel special and seamless — especially when you’re paying professionals who are supposed to understand how meaningful the day is. There were multiple situations that made it clear this venue didn’t take her day seriously: -The ceremony site was set up incorrectly, despite a rehearsal the day before where the staff specifically asked for her input. -The wedding coordinator was preoccupied with a rehearsal for a wedding happening the next day — during my sister’s actual wedding day. -The bridal party was harassed by people visiting the winery, while staff was nowhere to be found. Those same guests ruined intimate moments, like the bride’s first looks — memories my sister will never get back. -Just as we were about to begin the processional, a clearly intoxicated woman approached the security guard and loudly asked to see her friend — who turned out to be the wedding coordinator. The guard had the audacity to go get the coordinator just as the bride was about to walk down the aisle. Speaking with her friend was clearly more important to the coordinator than doing her job — as was the case with the security guard. That moment was inappropriate and unprofessional on both accounts. -The reception space was not set up correctly, despite meetings and a detailed binder of instructions. To make matters worse, my sister was told she could not assist with setup — even after asking — and then they got it all wrong. -For dinner the bride and groom’s place cards were at the wrong seats, even though their custom toasting glasses were in the correct spot. Of all the seats to mess up, how do you mishandle the ones for the bride and groom? This led to an awkward game of musical chairs during one of the most emotional parts of the night — the family speeches. -Speaking of speeches, music from the venue continued playing over them. A simple fix — yet another oversight by the venue. These are just some of the many careless situations made. Instead of reflecting on their wedding with pure joy, my sister and her husband look back on all of the preventable missteps with frustration — and that’s heartbreaking.

Callaway, your team dropped the ball. Do better. Couples trust you with one of the most important days of their lives. That responsibility should never be...
