I was there with my good friend Sunday and from the moment we got there at the entrance there was a nice gentlement that guides to where we need it to go super nice and friendly. The Restaurant was busy so we went to the patio and got seated fro wine tasting We had the best experience with our waiter his name is " DEREK" as soon as he saw us seating he came with water, asking us what type of wine we liked he was so helpful specially because it was my first time. a SHOUTOUT TO "DEREK" you are one awesome waiter, he kept bring us wine and we bough 4 bottle of wine , he helped us taste and select the wine. DEREK CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR MAKING US FEEL SO WELCOME AND FOR GIVING US SO MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT THE WINE AND THE PLACE AND BECOMING A MEMBER!!! The place is beautiful lots of parking Lovely views -The bathroom are so clean and classy -All the people serving wine are amazing!!! MY WAITER /WINE HELPER " DEREK " WAS THE BEST!!!!!!!! The moscato wines are delicious all their wines are tasty and will give you a good buzz after 2 glasses Derek our waiter he kept helping everyone and checking up on us we got a nice little The cheese platter is good ABOUT THE RESTAURANT" the food is okay, I think is super expensive for the quality of food, also the desert was so small with 2 spoons you are done eating it, I wouldnt recomment desert. Also the hostess at the restaurant wasnt very helpful, we put our name on the list and after 1 hour she called me and showed up like in 2 minutes and my 2 seats were taken I dont get it. I was mad, but our waiter Derek suggested we seat on the patio so we did, and also the manager came out and she was very nice and kind and helped us. Our serving guy was a young guy the Appetizers took forever, place an order for bread took like 35 minutes, I had to asked the guy several times . -the service at the restaurant was not good -the guy went on break and the lady helping wasnt really friendly I was not happy with the restaurannt service or the food. I wont go back to the restaurant , trust me you can go to a better place and pay 1/2 of the price for the food. everything is over prized at the restaurant. I MUST SAY " THE PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL FOR PICTURES, THE WINE TASTING AREA IS NICE ,THE WINES ARE GOOD, AND EVERYONE IN GENERAL IS NICE. IT GETS REALLY BUSY ON WEEKEND.!!!! make reservations or you will have to wait forever The experience in general is good . WE ALSO ARE POSTINGN A PICTURE OF OUR AWESOME WAITER . THANKS FOR THE...
Β Β Β Read moreWe have been to this location with friends for wine tastings in the past. We have been for breakfast and lunch as well. Both breakfast and lunch were good but nothing that stood out as a wow for me but Iβm not much of a breakfast person. I didnβt realize it was a dinner venue as well until I saw a Bolero in the Inland Empire magazine.
We decided to for a birthday dinner two days in advance. Tried the online reservation that did not work so called. Both Friday and Saturday were full and no reservations were available two days in advance.
After the beautiful write up in the magazine and nothing available for weekend dinning my expectations were very high. We made a weeknight reservation and upon arrival at 5:30 the place was very busy. We were seated immediately in an outdoor area with a one person music entertainment. The music was at a good level of volume and of Spanish style music that fit the environment. The tables were a medal design and chairs were simple medal as well.
Our server met with us right away and got drink orders. Drinks were delivered quickly and tasted good but we did ask for a floater so we could taste the bourbon. On to the menu. With the Hope over dinner, I expected a different dinner menu than the lunch menu I had had in the past but not the case. The menu is rather large and diverse which is great for choices but a bit overwhelming as well. We ordered an appetizer which was a toast with tomato on it as well as an organized Caesar. Both were very good and easy to share.
Time for the main. Between the four of us we got three meals as they were described as a tapa plate. Two of us ordered the Chilean Seabass then a shrimp plate and a mussel plate. The shrimp plat was good and tasty but seemed like an appetizer. It was four bread pieces with flavors and one good size shrimp each. The mussels looked good but less than half of the shells were empty which was a bit of a heartbreak. Lastly the two orders of sea bass. I donβt think Chilean Sea Bass is ever disappointing. In this case both were amazing surrounded by artichoke hearts and tomatoes both full of flavor and definitely worth it.
Overall the place is nice but not a white table cloth place. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Plates are on the smaller side and pricing is average for its style. Service was good. We will definitely be back in our future but at the same time it didnβt grab us to get back soon. Donβt pass this up as you may find what really fits...
Β Β Β Read moreSo my daughter made reservations 6/4 @6:30. When my husband & I arrived @6:15 we were informed they were setting up the table and would seat us shortly. So we had a cocktail @ bar; bartender was great! The hostess never came to get us to let us know our table was ready until the rest of our party arrived. That is not the information she provided when we arrived. So now we are seated. So we were instructed that dinner was served tapas style. So we all ordered; my daughter and my husband wanted the paella however we were informed it would take 45 minutes; too long. So everyone ordered. BTW my daughter ordered a simple pasta dish with no protein instead of the paella. So the food TRICKLED out. My grandsons who ordered their food but were still hungry so my son ordered them a second dinner to split which was delivered eventually. Its now TWO HOURS later and not all the food had been delivered; specifically my daughter's dinner. When we finally were able to make contact with the waitress, she thought my daughter had ordered sea bass (which that incorrect dinner was also never delivered to our table). Finally when the pasta dish arrived which we promptly asked for it to go as we had been there close to 3 hours. My husband asked for the check as HE JUST WANTED OUT OF THERE! Then the manager came over per my daughter's request she made him aware of the situation and he said her dinner would be comp'd. Prior to the manager coming over, the waitress delivered the bill and my husband handed her his credit card. She informed my daughter her dinner which had arrived just minutes before could not be deducted as she ran the card already. In any event, the manager had the power apparently. So there was a $329 charge pending charge on the credit card. Also, my husband felt the wait staff was spread too thin and does not believe in giving a gratuity. So he added a $60 tip (less than 20%). When the charge came through as the final amount, there was no credit for the "long lost" dinner. |Did I mention my husband was angry and did not want to speak with the manager. . . . almost 3 hours, he simply wanted out of the restaurant. |Tapas style should not be an EXCUSE FOR POOR SERVICE.|This dinner was to be a celebration of graduation and promotion. .. . .the service made it anything but a...
