Until very recently, I had not seen a movie in a theater for years. With every cost ramping up with inflation, I was stunned to find that the prices at Pollack Cinemas may not have increased at all. I am so grateful that in today's world, "benevolent entrepreneur" is not an oxymoron. In these challenging financial times where many of us are wondering which expenditures need to be cut; this theater option makes the entertainment experience affordable. Many movie productions do not require a technically maximized audio and/or other effects systems to be fully enjoyed. Pollack Cinemas are a great example that expensive is not always better and certainly not necessary. Aside from the unbelievably low price of both movie tickets and theater food and beverage, I have always found that all areas of the theater are always kept clean. The seating is comfortable. Their larger than life entertainment collectibles are simply dazzling. The customer service is always commendable. I will patronize Pollack Cinemas over other theater venues based on principle, because they truly represent a gift to the movie...
Read moreWow! Been here about 4-5 times now with friends and I'm so happy I found this place! I'm a big movie buff and while I don't tend to watch movies close to the release date, Pollack Cinemas has got me covered!
Their selection changes frequently and the quality of each experience is something I'm grateful for. You can tell the owners take pride in this location, from the moment you walk in you're rushed with movie nostalgia both classic and modern.
The screens are very nice, the audio is superb and the seats are surprisingly comfortable to me. $7 for two tickets is definitely something that keeps me coming back, yes I could pay basically $15 each somewhere else, but what you get at the other places is up-selling, I never want or need to be laying back on a futon while someone brings dinner to my assigned seat while sipping wine, I just want to watch a damn movie! Pollack Cinemas is purely for movie fanatics, it's what I've been needing!
Again, I'm very happy I...
Read moreThis place has been around since before we moved to AZ over 20 yrs ago. We love that you can go see movies for $3pp. The place is an homage to old school iconic characters from movies of old with giant statues in the theater like Alvin and the Chipmunks. We went to see Wild Robot. They have limited viewing times and the movies don’t stay long there so go as soon as you can. The chairs rock which is an upgrade from when we first found the place years ago. Concession stand available just like a more expensive theater. Smaller theater and you can select your seats like other theaters. My only concern is that the seats sit low and if there is someone tall in front of you it can make it a challenge to view the screen. Very family friendly environment and is super popular due to how low cost the tickets are. We had 5 in our group and paid $17. Shout out to Michael Pollack for keeping this theater open and going and still offering low cost tickets...
