Michaels — Local services in Paso Robles

I had a package to go out for UPS and this Michael's provides ups up until 9p.m that said I was there after 8 and was greeted by a nice young lady who was at register, I asked her about the UPS service just to verify that I hadn't miss understood THE WEB INFO now POPS UP another (older) employee who has some attitude or lacks people skills whatever the case maybe, she was too eager to shut me down and turn me away . I thought I'm not going to let this lady ruin the rest of my night because she's miserable and hating life I'm so over judgmental/ racist individuals. I'm a Latin female born in the CA to both parents being born in this country father is from (San Juan) P.R this is where my Latin roots come from father raised in Brooklyn And mother from Ca.,LA to be exact. It's bad I honestly think that this county and any other county should be able to move out of the mind set that if your not white/Caucasian your no one or less then the same with how our homeless population/community gets treated/ judged as a whole instead of individually might help if we're fair and see & treat people differently with kindness instead...

I loved Michael's we went right before closing the store was well organized and full of fun crafting things to do new ideas for me. The display shelves were pretty well used and the Isles were pretty well stocked with not much clutter to contend with. Most items had a price chart or were labelled. I appreciate that a lot. I am constantly comparative shopping so it was easy to do. They had a a 50 percent off isle. For an awesome display of beads all well marked and I had fun choosing my beautiful. Beads we went to cash out and the cashier was very nice and patient. Didn't preside me to decide on my purchase and watch my. My items cost as she rang everything up. She helped me to receive all the discounts that I had worked hard to accomplished even called the manager down to assist who was just as patient friendly and also presented another idea to help me finish my purchase and receive my discounts. Wonderful experience I will return. Thank you staff at Michaels...

Everything is horribly over-priced and the only way to make it semi-affordable is to sign up for their cancerous email list that spams you multiple times a day. Also, be prepared to wait patiently for a sale that applies to the item you want. (and you best read the fine print before trying to use them coupons)

...and even then I would give them two stars (they have some fun/interesting stuff) but noooo, they had to go and block cell signals in the store! Cannot take/make calls anywhere inside and even part of the parking lot is affected somehow. Want to compare prices on mobile? Well, you're gonna have to use the wifi Michael's provides and good luck getting it to work since 9 times out of 10 the only thing it's good for is loading coupons to use in store. Sure, maaaaaybe they aren't responsible for blocking the cell reception... but they most definitely are on the hook for the terrible wifi they are attempting to...
