Excellent little historical museum in the middle of mission. Not only does it have interesting information on the history of mission, but the entire lower RGV as well. There is a neat library inside of an old safe within the building. There is no entry fee, place is clean and well-kept with a nice garden outside.

It's a small, free community museum housed in two historic buildings. You'll mainly get to know more about the citrus industry here. I'd like to see more information on the butterflies since that is the symbol of the city. Don't forget to check out the annex in the old post office. Plan on about 30 minutes.

This is my favorite Museum in the region. It may not be the biggest, but it is so welcoming. They have awesome programs for kids in the summer and good lectures once a month. I encourage people come and visit and become members of the Mission...
