Upper Valley Art League — Attraction in Mission

I stopped by to check it out. I spoke to Robert and Cynthia, and they both were so nice and welcoming to show me the whole place. One can join as a member and can get to take the different art classes they offer here. All can creat different expressions through the classes of ceramic, pottery, drawing, painting and more. I am looking forward to join with my husband. They have every month a different exposition for the public and it is free. They also have social gathering when the open a new exposition to the public. This is an amazing place to visit. They have exhibits of art and a recreational section. I got to meet some artists and their stories were quite inspiration. I got to learn the basics of pottery from Mardy. He was so patient and encouraging even though my pottery piece was a disaster:-). Their membership is very reasonable. You can use the facility which has pottery wheels, kilns, some machines and amazing helpful people who go out of their way to help u incase u need help. I feel being part of a community when i go there. They have adult painting classes and summer classes for kids....

I really liked this gallery and workshop. The artists I met were kind, laid-back, and knowledgeable. The art showcased is of different medias and styles. Most works are for sale and are underpriced to sell to good homes. Membership is cheap, too, for local artists to showcase their work. It's well worth the stop to view, chat, and support...
