SILVER DOLLAR WINERY HILL COUNTRY — Attraction in Texas

We camped as a Harvest Host traveler for one night. We enjoyed the wine immensely and bought 2 bottles. The pizza is outstanding. We want to thank Don for the wine tasting. We had a great conversation about wines and both of our cultures. Don owns the cider side of the business and we highly recommend them. We also want to thank meeting Mark (hope I got that right). We didn't get to talk to him much, but he's very nice. And we definitely have to thank Richard for the hospitality. We had several long conversations and I wish that we could have stayed longer. I'm going with a 3. Food and wine may be awesome, but I didn't make it that far. My girlfriend and I decided to stop by on our way up to Marble Falls for some lunch. The food looked rather delicious. We walked in the door, and it was uncomfortable. The man behind the counter greeted us with "What do yall need?" When I said some food and wine, I was directed to go sit at a table out there, and somebody will come over. I don't jump to conclusions based on one person, so we took a seat. Eventually, grumpy brought us menus. I had a question and was told somebody else would come back. When one of the dogs decided to start pawing at me, I decided to go. WOW. -Customer service: OUTSTANDING!!! It felt like we were visitors in someone's home. The service was unmatched. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! -Wine: Ike's Red Blend is DELICIOUS. -Food: We ordered wings (naked with spicy Chipotle dry rub), bruschetta, beef ravioli, and charcuterie. It was all amazing. -Cider: Sampled some cider and it was all SO good! -Hot Sauce: Oh my. We bought a bottle. They have samples available and they are all SO good for spicy food lovers! -Venue: Stayed indoors for the food and never ventured outside til the end.
