So we were passing through to get to our usual winery and got a little hungry. We saw a bistro and stopped just to grab a bite to eat. Sooooo glad we did!!! What a gem 💎 Food was absolutely delicious and the wine was such a shot in the dark yet we hit the bullseye. I am a bit judgie when it comes to a Tempranillo Red Wine. Our lunch at Silver Dollar Bistro was most definitely a 5 star experience. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by 4 dogs, we knew we made a good choice. The first thing Dom did was to make sure we were ok with the dogs. The food was so very good (salads, sandwich, chicken tortellini Alfredo, and a charcuterie board!) Owner seems like a very nice gentleman and the food was really good. Didn't try the wine, but definitely coming back. There are a lot of unique wines I haven't seen at other wineries, including a Gewerztraminer, Vermentino and a good selection of sweet wines. I am definitely coming back when I can drink.
