Finding Tierra de Lobos, Adolfo and Gabino last year was a serendipitous discovery. The passion for their craft is evident in the pride with which they share their wines and the history of their vineyard. The tasting room is a delight to visit and the selection of wines and eats never fail to please the palette. I've been lucky to find their booth at Vancouver's Farmer's Market and the Mercado in Portland. I look forward to visiting them at the PSU market booth this winter, too 😊 The wine club is a really nice way to stay in supply and to have first chance at the newest selections đŸ·I've had the pleasure of recommending Tierra de Lobos to lots of friends and family and hope you will check...

This is my favorite winery in The Gorge, and for good reason. The tasting room has a gorgeous view of the river that never gets old—perfect for winding down any day of the week. The staff always greet me like an old friend, and they really know their stuff when it comes to picking out a wine. I’ve tried just about everything, and they still surprise me with great recommendations. The taco truck in the parking lot is a total win—seriously tasty every time. Whether I’m relaxing indoors or grabbing a seat outside, it’s always a good vibe. The yard games add a fun touch, and the fire pits are perfect when the weather cools off. Can’t recommend it enough—it’s a great...

My partner and I saw this winery and figured "lets try it"!. So glad we did. The Malbec is a dry and full bodied, one of the best I have had in years. My other favorite is the Tinto Dulce which we had with grilled lamb kabobs we made over the BBQ the other day with friends from out of town ( spoiler we made Sangria out it!).. My white wine friends love the Chardonnay ( buttery and smooth). They grow their own grapes. The owner is always there and makes the whole experience even better. When friends come out of town and we go tasting, Tierra De Lobos is always on the itinerary. Looking forward to watching this great little gem grow over the...

Awesome new tasting room that surely will become a must stop for anyone entertaining out of town guests visiting The Gorge. At the time of this review Tierra De Lobos has only had a tasting room for two months, but the space and the wine are amazing (with more low quantity high quality offerings coming soon). The man pouring your wine is likely to be one of the owners and he is as passionate as he is knowledgeable about the wines offered. Quite varied grape varietals offer something tasty for every palate. Cheese, meat and other snacks available, sangria offered on the weekends. This has definitely made it's way onto our must stop Gorge winery list.

What a wonderful gem for wine tasting on the Columbia. Beautiful views, and VERY clean and sensitive environment, but the wine is the real reason to stop in, of course. The Barbera in particular was too good not to buy 3 bottles. What made the experience extra special was the many locals who dropped in for their personal events. Truly local and loyal to The Dalles and The Gorge.
