Starbucks — Restaurant in The Dalles

We quite literally had the weirdest experience of my life at this location. To start, I love Starbucks- I worked for Starbucks for over 6 years so it’s always fun for me when we’re traveling and get to stop at new locations! I ordered my drink inside and used the restroom. To make one very long story short: my drink was never sent to the queue and after 20 minutes of waiting, I finally asked where my drink was and the barista making the drinks was accusing me of stealing!!! She asked me to show my proof of purchase and then didn’t believe I actually ordered it and continued to question me! It was so uncomfortable. 🥴

Our service was horrible... I know we came right before closing. From the moment we walked in, we were reminded that they were closing in 6 minutes, making us feel we needed to rush to put our order in. We ordered 3 drinks that were not made correct, and all 3 were thrown away. If the service was not going to be done correctly due time, doors should have be locked or told to us as soon as walking in. Their customer service from all 3 girls were horrible, not friendly or welcoming. I have never been treated this way at any Starbucks I have ever been to. I will be calling first thing in the morning to get my order corrected. Hopefully as time goes by, this new establishment will fix things. How convenient, there's no phone number...

Showed up after placing order to see all the employees sitting outside chatting. They all stared at my car as I drove past to get in line. Inside was empty and closed, they said they wouldn’t be open for another 30 minutes (this was at 5:10am) and referred me to somewhere else. Shitty experience, avoiding that place until new management is established. This experience not only pissed me off and made me late to work but I felt extremely uncomfortable and a little frightened when they all got quiet and stared at my car as I drove past to get in line.
