I took an antique ring that needed new stones. The pearls were worn away. I decided that amethyst stones would last longer so I bought the stones from John Falatico and he said he would replace them and fix the ring. He gave me a price of $250.00. I paid him and waited for him to call me when it was ready. When he called me he would not even come out from the back. The woman he sent out with my ring said that he told her that he couldn’t do anything with that ring. He would not even come out to talk to me! I was shocked! I left the store speechless. I took my ring to the real jewelry store in town Robert’s Jewelers. They said they would have to undo what the previous person had done. He had put SUPERGLUE on my ring to hold the stones in! I bought a watch a few months back from here and it fell apart and it was taken to get repaired. I received a call a day or so later that the watch was ready. Went to pick it up and I DIDNT feel welcomed. The stares I got from this one younger employee like I didn't belong. She didn't greet me however an older women did. It was told that it would not Be a charge when the watch was taken in. However they did try to charge me when I was picking it up.they stated that it was difficult to put back together. While shopping in Tifton, I asked a family member the best jeweler to fix my engagement ring and Central Jewelers was highly recommended as they had used them many times. I had bent my ring and wanted to make sure the prongs were secure. From the moment I walked in till I left was only thirty minutes, which was amazingly efficient. The jeweler came out with my ring fixed and explained how I bent it and how he corrected it. My ring was cleaned and shiny.
