Fun little place where the dorys launch and return. There is, of course, the dune itself. It's a fairly steep climb with thee usual one step forward a half step back. But the views from the top are nice. It was about 70 the day we went and even by midday the sand was hot so consider shoes. We came down the west side and it was much cooler. She threatened us with a fine if we didn't move. We moved, she put a warning tag on our RV after we went where she said. Apparently it's now a "paid" only location now. Watch out for the dory boats coming in on the beach while you walk towards the dune. The climb is a bit tough, but well worth the effort.
