Awesome place along the coast to visit. Public parking and restrooms were still under construction, so plan on an early arrival to nab a spot. Watch out for the dory boats coming in on the beach while you walk towards the dune. The climb is a bit tough, but well worth the effort. Sand gets hot as the day goes on, may be worthwhile to climb in the morning or on a cloudy day if you have sensitive feet. Overall an amazing experience!

Beautiful, soft sand makes for a soft feel on the feet, but a strenuous climb up the dune. The view from the top is well worth it on a clear day like the one we had today. Our group enjoyed hiking the dune, walking the path to look out over the cape, and playing in the surf.

Fun little place where the dorys launch and return. There is, of course, the dune itself. It's a fairly steep climb with thee usual one step forward a half step back. But the views from the top are nice. It was about 70 the day we went and even by midday the sand was hot so consider shoes. We came down the west side and it was much cooler. There are additional trails and a large sea cave. The beach is expansive and runs for miles. People were surfing, boogie boarding and skimboarding. Full bathrooms with water and showers. Food nearby. Costs $10 for a...

The "Lincoln City council" came POUNDING on my RV door because I parked in a non RV parking lot (I did not see the sign) the lady was VERY rude. We stopped for maybe 30 minutes. She threatened us with a fine if we didn't move. We moved, she put a warning tag on our RV after we went where she said. Apparently it's now a "paid" only location now. Put a sour taste in my mouth for that place. We legitimately didn't see the sign and got reprimanded...
