Down The Road Thrift, Inc. — Attraction in Titusville

Down the road Thrift is a really wonderful place to shop. They have anything that you might be looking for at very reasonable prices but that's only where the story begins. Jerry and his team do so much for veterans that it makes me proud that I shop there. They give away food to homeless vets, they have furnished over 250 homes to vets, including delivery, at no charge to the veterans. Down the road let's vets do laundry there, shower there and just truly love and honor our veterans and it's really inspiring. If I could recommend anything to anyone reading this post, it would be to implore you to spend money at Down the road Thrift or better yet to make a cash donation to them. They operate on a razor thin budget and they are so worthy of your patronage, and lot's of veterans depend on the food, service and furnishings that they provide. Thanks Jerry, sweet Judy, Johnathan, Matt (the hat) and all of the employees and volunteers at Down the road Thrift. You are doing the Lord's work and you have impacted thousands of live for the positive, my wife and I being two of them.

Dear Down the Road Thrift,

My family visited your store last week to donate my father's clothes and shoes. He was a Vietnam Veteran, and we had at least ten boxes of items.

We were so impressed by the volunteer who assisted us. They took the time to explain the store's mission and the services you provide for veterans, including the Dover Detail. This program, which provides a complete uniform for a veteran's burial at no cost, would have been invaluable to our family when my father passed away. We spent hundreds of dollars to purchase and express ship a uniform in time for his funeral, and we wish we had known about your services then.

We are so grateful for everything that Down the Road Thrift does for veterans and their families. Although I don't recall the volunteer's name, we want to express our sincere thanks for their kindness and compassion. They made the difficult process of donating my father's belongings much easier.
